Bought the 20 oz. Bag of Buttered Farmer Jon's at the Local Winn Dixie before going on a camping trip 3 weeks ago with my... husband. Never thought we would finish that gigantic bag of popcorn.....boy was I mistaken!! It is fantastic!! Went backyesterday for another bag and bought the last bag on the shelf. Farmer Johns popcorn has steadily gone down hill over the past few years. We purchased it at our local Fareway store when it was... in plastic bags and sealed with a tie wrap twisty. At that time the product was pretty good and I was upset when they quitehandling it but they got tier of the messes they had in the store from the twisty coming off. They started handling it againwhen it was in new bags that were heat sealed. The product now contains a lot of old maids and hulls. The kettle corn is notrecognizable and the sugar in it seems to be burnt. I have lost complete faith in these products and like some others theproduct gets changed to cut costs and goes downhill. I found your 20 oz. bag of popcorn at our Winn Dixie in Northport, Alabama. I bought it and we absolutely love it. It has just... the right amount of salt. I took some to our grandson's baseball game and shared. Several people went and bought their owngiant bags. We try to support our American farmers and it is easy to do when the product is this good. I bought a sampler pac of Farmer Jon popcorn on QVC and it was burn your mouth salty. Pops nicely but way too much salt.
