Sweet, savory, simple, complex, crumpets whichever way you want! Theemployees were really friendly and even though it was a bit busy the wait time wasn't long. Crumpets is so cute I can?t wait to come back and tell my friends about it. The owners are nice to talk to, the crumpets weren?t... too crumbly and were flavorful and filling. The Crumpet Lady is BY FAR my favorite place to eat breakfast in the city. The atmosphere is somehow both relaxed AND fancy... with their gorgeous decor and fancy tea sets yet close quarters and friendly regulars. On nice summer days theres even cuteoutdoor seating! Before you get to relax in the storybook picture-perfect seating though, you have to pick from theirPHENOMENAL menu. Many if not all of their ingredients are locally sourced and everything is always so fresh. They have plenty ofvegan options and you can always see the owner making the crumpets herself!
