Delicious food and fast service. I was able to run down, have a good huevos rancheros and a nice cup of coffee, all in time... before I needed to leave for work. The staff were friendly, and if I wasn't in a hurry I would have hung around for a second cupof coffee. Read more

I've been a Rochester NY caricaturist "regular" nearly two years. The serving staff isfirst class, friendly and runs the restaurant & bar to be safe and smooth. In warmer months, food & drink service may be on the4th FL CENTER CITY terrace with a beautiful outside view of downtown Rochester. As guests as the Hyatt we decided to eat at the Street and we were quite impressed with the dinner menu, service and the quality... of the food. The artic char, steak frites and street salad with grilled chicken were all outstanding. The delicious dessertconsisted of coffee and cheesecake with raspberry coulis. Nice little bar inside the Hyatt. The bar is nicely stocked with high end liquor. Complaint was the "bar food" they need to up... their variety. I did enjoy the hummus plate. If you are staying here at the Hyatt, this is the place to congregate Read more
Went with some friends for lunch after the car show. We got the Maple Brussel sprouts for an app and they were the best Brussel... sprouts I have ever had. I would highly recommend them. Also got the 50/50 burger, which was good, I would recommend some typeof sauce for the burger thought that would go with the caramelized onions and pickles. Outside of that it was really good. While in town for a conference, I decided to try Corso for lunch. Lunch opened at 12, and our names were put on the waiting list... at 11:55. We were told a :25 minute wait, which ended up being :55 minutes. That was the best part of the experience... The lowpoints were... ordering our food at 1:00 only to sit for another :35 minutes. My friend and I had identical orders (French onionsoup and buttermilk chicken sandwich)...the only difference was my sandwich had sauce on the side. When the food finally cameout (after the waitress tried to give us our bill before we saw any of our meal), one soup was missing and my sandwich waswrong. The (very bad tempered) Manager snipped at us "Oh, the order is wrong" and started to walk off...I actually had to shoutafter him to leave my friends food...I got the soup, she got the sandwich. Fast forward another :20 minutes and the rest of ourorder arrived...with sandwich overdone and the brioche roll burnt to a crisp and my friend's soup was a very poor example ofFrench onion soup with the cheese melted in a clump in the center, pale white, and lukewarm broth We asked for the bill, only todiscover that the soup was being charged $3 more than the published price on the menu ($9 vs $6 menu price). When we alerted themanager, who was already unhappy, he blamed the server and demanded the menus be reprinted. We waited about another :15 minutesfor us to pay our bill. I paid by card, my friend by cash. My friend should have gotten 14.62 back with her change, and she wasonly only given $14 cash bills. She had to actually ask the hostess for the rest of her correct change to be given back to her.The server and the manager refused to come near us. We were there just over two hours, the conference was in it's third day, andthe restaurant did an incredibly poor job for it's paying customers. Read more
