We loved the atmosphere here! The flautas and loaded queso fries were delicious! However, I was not as impressed by my tacos.... The fried chicken was a bit overcooked. Read more

The food is this place taste Amazing. The flavor of each dish was on point. This place would of been 5 stars all the way but... trouble with the bill forced me to place a 4 star instead of 5. Read more

Let me start of with the positives - Great locations -Food presentation was good Ready for the negatives - This does not taste... like authentic Mexican food. - service suck -overpriced Overall I will not return. This food is overpriced and claims it is"authentic Mexican ", if we were going to call it that then I guess we call Taco Bell that title too. The waitress we had wasbad and believe her good looks were going to carry her far. Just to bring us water and a few beers it took 15 min. We got ourdrinks and she just left. Another 10 min pass and now she takes our orders. Took 20 to 25 mins for our food to come. I suggestthe owner go down south and have some real food. I've been to spots busier than here and the food tastes a lot better, comes outquicker and it's cheaper. . Read more

The decor of Bitter Honey is really nice to me, but others may feel it's way to dark. The layout of the restaurant is straight... forward. You have a great looking bar to your left, and past that the spacious dining area. The restrooms are oddly outside ofthe restaurant down the hallway. Service was really good. I would return. Taco's- At $7 each it's best to get the platter ($24)if you like rice and beans. The 3 Tacos I had was Baja, Barbados, and Al Pastor. The tacos are on the small side, but they arepack with fillings. I would've loved them more if the shells were pan fried. Chips/ Guacamole- was really good. I could've atethis for dinner alone. Loved how fresh everything was Birria taco- I felt it could've used more meat, and with more flavor. Thedipping sauce could've been better, if it was the actual stewed sauce from the meat. Mai Boo- if you like pina colada's thenyou'll enjoy this drink. Very good and refreshing. Read more

First time here, the food was excellent! I purchased the track platter, which you can choose 3 different kinds from a variety... of selections. They were all delicious! The loaded nachos were out of this world. The drinks were excellent as well. Idefinitely will be going back. Read more

First time patrons - very pleased with drinks, service, and food. First time here for my wife and I on a lazy, warm afternoon... (gift certificate from our kids). They had just opened and we were able to sit outdoors on the porch. Timing was just right asthe place filled up very fast. Great server(s) who share the load when it gets busy. Made some nice drink recommendationswhich did not disappoint. Food was more Mexican modern rather than traditional so keep an open mind. A bit pricey but worththe experience in a unique urban location. We will be back to sample more drinks and snacks. Thank you for a fun experience. Read more

Not bad, but I have had better Mexican food elsewhere. The burrito I had was not cooked well and was barely warm. I think they... just throw precooked ingredients in it and roll it up. The beans are not refried, rather simply whole beans. The loaded Fry'swere very good. I suggest trying this place just don't expect the best food experience. Read more

Located just outside the Rochester Regional Farmers Market, this Mexican restaurant doesn't offer what you'd call "authentic" or... "traditional" cuisine from the region. But I honestly don't care because both the food and atmosphere are fun! Indoor andoutdoor seating is available right now. Focusing just on the tacos it can seem a bit pricey at $7 each. But once made into anentree of 3 tacos with a side of beans & rice it feels more reasonable. The beans & rice were okay but didn't bring much to themeal flavor wise. The first taco I tried was the Al Pastor: roasted pork, charred pineapple salsa, & cilantro. It was the mosttraditional one of the 3 and was pretty good. The pork was seasoned will but the pineapple got lost by the last bite. I wasreally excited to try the chef special called The Josh Allen: buttermilk fried chicken, hot honey sauce, blue cheese, and celeryslaw. The flavors were fantastic but I wish the chicken breast they used wasn't so dry. My third taco was the Baja: beerbattered cod, chipotle ranch, cabbage slaw, avocado, pickled red onion, and cilantro. Hands down the best one of the night.Light and crispy with all the other components working well together. Next time I think I might just order 3 of these and callit a night. Btw, the spicy margarita is legit. But when they ask you how spicy from 1 - 10 go with an 8 or higher. I asked for a6 and regretted not going for more bite. Read more
