This is a great place with excellent service and yummy food! It was a beautiful day so we thought eating outside would be... perfect. However, the noise from the road was problematic in the eating area beside the building. When we were leaving we sawtables at the back of the building (the entrance) and there was very little road noise to have to talk over. The Tap House haspoured a great deal of resources into beautifying the side eating area and it looks lovely. If you don't mind the noise fromtraffic and raised voices all around, you'll enjoy a great time at the Tap House. Without hesitation, I will eat here again.Simply choosing a table inside is the solution for a quieter experience. Read more
A fav local spot in Rochester. Good drink menu and good food. Taco Tuesday is a nice weekday deal for yummy tacos. Spacious... patio for outdoor dining. Nice ambiance inside too that feels casual but still fun for date night or friend meet-ups. I recentlytried breakfast also which had quite large portions if you are hungry or want some to take home. Started off great - out with friends and the beer was good! But we didn?t know which beer was which on our flight. When ordering... food - the server seemed like he understood but wasn?t real sure. When our food came out, it was ALL wrong. My ?buffalo chickenwrap? - had NO buffalo sauce on it. Friend #1 - had a crispy chicken sandwich (menu said nothing about cheese on it) - came outwith cheese on it. Friend #2 - ordered a crispy chicken ranch wrap - came out as a crispy bacon chicken sandwich. Informed themit wasn?t right, took it back. Waiting 5-7 minutes and food came back out, IT WAS THE SAME FOOD they previously brought out tous. My ?buffalo chicken? - all they did was squirt buffalo sauce on the top - they didn?t even replace the ranch I USED earlierto eat my onion rings with - GROSS! Friend #1 - they literally SCRAPED the cheese off and flipped the chicken over (you couldstill see the cheese on the bun!) Friend #2 - they literally cut up the sandwich and put it in a wrap. There was flieseverywhere and really annoying. When the server went to refill my water, he LITERALLY took a water glass off the tray that wasbeing brought to ANOTHER table! It?s hard to find a place with 100 high-quality local tap beers. They seem to be frequently rotated as well. Experienced great... service and would definitely like a location in the Woodbury, Stillwater & Hudson area! Read more
Yo this place slaps! If you?re looking for a cool trendy craft beer bar with great food, atmosphere, and staff, come come out... tap house west end! This is their second location here in Rochester and I might have to say I like this location better? Superhard to say as the downtown spot is beyond legit with a rooftop. However, the patio here is so hard to beat!Everything is alwaysspot on at either location. Tacos and tachos are the go to?s but honestly everything is good. Great place to meet up or host asmall gathering. They?re always rocking the best beer in MN and snagging some of the top beers throughout the country with 100taps! Read more
We absolutely will be going back here again. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere as well. The service was also great!
