There is a reason the Mayo Clinic is ranked #1 in the nation. Combine world class care with Minnesota hospitality and you get... the only organization that I've given 5 stars to. Mind you, no organization is perfect and this one isn't as well. But, If youever need them they will be there for you. I took some pictures of the flowers in one of the outdoor rest areas. Worse than gas station food. Rude dismissive employees behind the hot food line. Lack of decent condiments. You?d think since... it?s the Mayo Clinic they would have healthy food? but no? everything has FD&C red dye, or BHT, or high fructose corn syrup, orartificial sweeteners, or glyphosate. Plenty of options for a week's stay. The soups were all very good. I tried several. Healthy options were available and calorie... counts were visable. Starbucks is open until one if you need some high quality coffee. The hot entrees are closed from 2-4ish.I think. There were other options, so not a deal breaker. Service and check outs were quick. If I could do zero I would! The cafeteria was excellent a couple years ago, BUT management changed and has went down hill. The... effort to walk across the street is VERY well worth the walk. They serve the same meal for 3 days in a row for both lunch anddinner. Read more
