Loved the food and wine at Salute! My husband and I ate there twice during my recent visit to Mayo Clinic. The first night our... delightful waitress Christine suggested the Walleye. Having never had it before, I gave it a try. Deliciously prepared andserved with seasoned potatoes and broccolini, all cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed his pork tenderloin, grilledasparagus and cranberry apple chutney. We were told that the chef and kitchen staff were new so if you haven?t tried this gemrecently, give it a try. Avoid at all costs!! Keep your receipts, and watch your bank statements. My girl and I ate dinner, added a tip and signed the... bill. A week later I noticed an EXTRA CHARGE TO MY BILL. Talked to the manager, he said he would refund, but NEVER DID! Shadyplace deserves to be shut down. On top of that almost sliced my hand open on the corner of a broken table, waiter was nowhere tobe found and they only had 10-15 wines and their sweetest wine was still dry and bitter, how is this a WINE bar?
