Good food, though like most Indian cuisine it is rich and spice-laden. They have all the classics and if you're in Rochester... looking for traditional Indian cuisine, this is the best (and a very good) option. Service is excellent, the buffet was wellstocked and we never ran out of beverages. My only negative is that the facility itself is starting to get a bit run-downlooking. It's clean, so that's not an issue, but it could use some updates once the restaurant economy is back on its feet a bitafter the pandemic. So glad they've survived the business issues during COVID and all the roadwork! We usually stop in a couple of times a year.... We're very happy the lunch buffet is back. I enjoyed the Naan and chicken tikka masala over rice and a few other items. Mycompanion was more adventuresome and really loved everything. Veggie choices, meat choices - yummy spice variety! The food is always beautifully presented. I absolutely love the fresh, flavorful food no matter what I order. The servings are... enough for two to three people or I've had enough leftover for another whole meal. It heats up perfectly and taste as good asday one. Indian food is my all time favorite, so I?m partial to giving high reviews here. That said, I love having a walkable Indian spot... here in Lowertown. We ordered take-out and got Chicken Tikka Masala, a smattering of appetizers-the pakora is great, mangolassi, and all the naan. We had a little feast in the studio and love how the colors photograph so well. Good looking and goodtasting! Lastly, I have to mention how friendly the woman that helped us is. She?s great. Have loved this place for many years! I've never had a substandard meal here. Always great, always fresh, always quality. ...
