This was a very unique experience, and not being familiar with Dutch food, a wonderful surprise. The service staff was friendly... even though they were busy. The Pannekoeken was blissful. I had Apple Raisin!!! Try it! It won't disappoint. My partner hadEggs Holandaise, he enjoyed it also. We made the short walk from Mayo. Read more

Our visit to this cute little breakfast place was amazing! The famous pannekoeken is definitely a must, but the rest of their... food was delicious also. Our server Carmen was magnificent! She was by far the best pannekoeken runner. She made us want toorder another just with her ?pannekoeken!!? run! Loved this little place! If you?re visiting from out of town ? highlyrecommend! This place is so cute and cozy. The atmosphere felt friendly and warm. Everything was presented in a nice way, and the mason jar... glasses were the cutest! The food was absolutely amazing. I loved coming here, and I would absolutely go back again! Read more

I had not been to this Pannoekoeken in a few years, since they moved. Love the new location! Very open, bright and decorated... with a Holland theme. A short walk from the main Mayo Clinic Campus. Extensive and varied menus for breakfast, lunch anddinner. We, of course, came for the Pannekoeken! ???? They were delicious! Our server, Patty, was wonderful! Definitelyreturning when we are back in Rochester! Oh! Don't forget to grab some of their delicious muffins to go when you leave! Read more

No reservations allowed so has to wait about 30 minutes for seating at the bar after being advised we?d had to wait for 10... minutes. The pannekoeken and the pancakes were amazing, so was the rum syrup. We had the steak and egg but unfortunately thesteak was kind of hard to eat. This is obviously no steak house however, I could not finish the steak, my boyfriend ate itthough. The owner was super friendly and talkative, all servers were fast and friendly. The decor is not that welcoming. Read more

Great breakfast! Hasbrowns were crispy, golden and buttery on the outside, and soft on the inside. Toast was buttered vs dry.... Omelettes were outstanding! Eggs still fluffy vs browned, melted cheese and they had a perfect cheese to filling ratio. Peoplewere friendly and attentive. We waited probably 30 min for a table, but I would wait again for a breakfast like that. Read more

I ate here twice during my week-long visit - what a fantastic place! I love the vibe and the food. For first timers or out of... towners, when you first enter, there's a counter for bakery items to go. Walk past that to the check-in podium for therestaurant. (I thought the whole crowd was waiting for the restaurant but it was just the shop part.) I was solo dining bothtimes so I ate at the bar with minimal wait times. If you have a big group and come on a weekend morning, prepare for a bit of await. There are fun signs all over and the wait staff are very on top of things and chipper. I never met anyone who didn't seemunhappy to be working there, it seems like a good workplace atmosphere (and I sat facing the kitchen both times.) I love how theservers sing a little pannekoeken song whenever they bring one out - it made me smile every time! I had the original applepannekoeken on my first visit with a side of mettwurst sausage (which was HUGE) and it was all very good. But I loved more thestaff favorite Dutch Skillet with potatoes, veggies, eggs, meat, and hollandaise sauce all together. It is VERY good. And itcomes with your choice of bread, which I got a muffin to enjoy later. If I were coming with a group, I think it would be fun tochoose from the savory dishes then split a pannekoeken between everyone. (Then save those muffins for second breakfast.) And forwhat you get, the prices are pretty reasonable. My bill was around $20 both times. Read more
