I had wonderful service and delicious food. The meatloaf was slightly overcooked and a little salty but still very good. The... crème brûlée was fantastic, and again I can't say how wonderful all the staff was. If you haven't been it's worth checkingout for sure. Read more
This is the update of my previous review. We are still amazed with quality and taste of food here! Five West brings always... updated menu and new dishes, still all very tasty! Keep up with inventing new meals! We are visiting Rochester once a year, anda stop at this restaurant is already a must. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes you may see in the photos andeverything is sooo tasty! It was also great to be able to sit on a patio as we had a nice warm day in October. I was HAPPILY surprised by this restaurant. There’s a really nice outdoor bar/patio. We ate outside overlooking a small pond.... The waitress was very friendly. And the FOOD was AMAZING. We had the queso dip. It was a unique take on queso, as it hadguacamole in the center and chorizo at the bottom. It was delicious though. We ate the guac out first and then mixed the resttogether. I also had the hot chicken sandwich and it was INCREDIBLE. The buttermilk fried breading was 100% delicious. 10/10would try again. The upgrade to sweet potato fries was also worth it. I mean all these reviews don’t lie, that’s how we ended up here. Everything we ordered was outstanding and our waitress was... super friendly despite being super busy on a weekday lunch hour. Visiting our son and daughter who suggested we grab breakfast at Five West. It was a great choice as you can get breakfast or... lunch. Great food, orderd Steak Eggs Benedict, a skillet, burger with garlic truffle fries and scrambled eggs with turkeysausage. Mimosas were fantastic as well as blackberry lemonade. Was a beautiful evening and we met up with friends. Looking for a nice deck. Sat by the water and enjoyed ourselves. Waitress... nice. Informed us 1/2 price bottles of wine so we just had to. We all had different meals and all were good. Would say ninewere great, so it five stars. We had the edamame for an app and it was amazing - really the dipping sauce made it. Between uswe had tacos, walleye, steak pasta and the fried chicken. I think the chicken it was the happiest. A nice night, good food,nothing to complain about. Read more
Love coming here for brunch. My favorite is the five west burger. Nothing better than a double patty, plus I like to get the... aioli on the side. Perfect for dipping sweet potato fries. The appetizers are always good. Buffalo chicken wontons have justenough spice. Overall great spot Read more
