Hi, the Mighty Gamera here! Here is a brief review (sorry, no pics) of Dennys in Rochester. I have to say they did a pretty... good job with everything. From seating to service to the meal itself was good. I was hungry for breakfast! I had eggs, sausage,pancakes, hash browns, toast and apple juice. It was all good and I'd eat there again. If I must nitpick the egg was just atouch undercooked and the toast was a little too buttery. I do think they could repair some of their seats and it was a bitdirty around the interior ends of the bench seats and window. Usually, I would drop it to 3 stars because of those things butthe crispy hash browns saved the day. Good health to everyone! Read more
Waiter was good. He did seat in a booth that was duct taped when the were plenty of seats open that were not & duct tape had... been on booth awhile. Sticky side of tape was partially up from people scooting across it so it now will stick to you if yousit on it. Food was good, but milk was bad. Restaurant was dirty & smelled a little funky. We came for breakfast, the food was good and came out as soon as always. However, my order incorrect but instead of sending it... back I just ate it. I also was given coffee when I ordered a Coke. I don't mind coffee so I drank that. Also, my TOGO orderthat I added on was correct. Not a bad visit, but it could have been better. Read more
In search of the elusive birthday breakfast got us dining at Denny?s. But gone are the days of the free Grand Slam breakfast... and in with the $4 Everyday Value Slam off the value menu. No frills breakfast of two eggs (cooked to order), 2 sausages orbacon and 2 pancakes. Simple, doable breakfast fare. Light on the flavor, heavy on the ordinary. The overall feel and look ofthe restaurant is one of seeing its better days with torn booth seats, water stained ceiling tiles and light fixtures. Waitressdid her job. Read more
I do not like the North Denny's. Both times I've been there the food has been off and if I show dissatisfaction I get an... attitude from staff. The pancakes were really thin. And I asked about it and was told "that's the way they're coming now". What?Are you kidding me? Are they not made to order anymore? ???? I know that staffing is a problem right now with coming out of thepandemic, but for real, your cook should know how to make a proper and you should treat your customer with care. Read more
Our server was absent the entire meal. He didn't come back since he took our order. We had to ask a different employee for... refills. All of our food was over-salty. And there's trash all over the parking lot. I'm so sad, because I normally loveDenny's. Unfortunately, this location is not worth going to again. Read more
