We ordered mini cupcakes and a cake for our wedding back in 2020 when it was the Cupcake Station. Even after transitioning to... Bakehouse 46, this company remained with us throughout the pandemic. Our order also remained with the same flavor cupcakes andcake. Although there had seemed to be manager transitions, we still were provided exactly what we had wanted for our wedding.Bakehouse 46 delivered our ordered on time and as expected. Our guests have commented on the both the cupcake presentation andcupcake taste. The cake was a general white cake with vanilla buttercream. We were very pleased with the taste. I love Cupcake Station cupcakes, but the ones I received recently from Bakehouse 46 were unacceptable. I ordered 24 cupcakes... (all varieties) for a gathering. They were packaged and ready. As a treat for my crew, I ordered three different additionalcupcakes. I asked my child to hand me one and she could not get it out of the paper in one piece. It literally crumbled in thecontainer. We hoped that the other two would be firm, but no, they crumbled as well. On one hand, I was happy to get thoseextra cupcakes because it showed me what to expect. I had to purchase extra plates and plasticware so my adult guests would nothave an unexpected mess. On the other hand, I was disappointed that the cupcakes all of us were looking forward to were not ofthe quality we came to expect from the Cupcake Station. They have the BEST mini cupcakes. There are so many flavors, including vegan and gluten friendly options, and I'm always amazed... by how good they are. A fun little treat for less than $2 while you're downtown. Their sandwiches are also great. Read more

I've been here a couple times but my most recent visit was during the Downtown Rochester Snowglobe event. Bought several mini... cupcakes and they were all dry and "crusty". Not moist like regular cupcakes. Also got several hot chocolates and my group and Iwere not impressed. They added too much actual chocolate chunks in there and it was way too sweet. Also, we were drinking actualchocolate chunks. In my prior visit, I bought several hot chocolate bombs here for $6+ per bombs. In my opinion, it's not worththe price or taste. The hot chocolate that we purchased (mentioned above) tasted exactly like the hot chocolate bombs. Read more
The Cherry Cheesecake donut is a perfectly delicious donut. The flavors remind you of cheesecake with its light donut texture... and toppings, however it does not give the heavy feeling or exact taste of cheesecake. My family of four all got the same flavor donut- the fruity pebbles one. 4 donuts-$10. Not a horrible price if they tasted... decent. The donut was dry and the fruity pebbles were stale, chewy and hard. We went for my son's 3rd birthday, and his favoritefood is donuts- Yates was so packed we couldn't find parking so we came here. He had one bite and refused it saying it was bad.Daughter and I agreed. Not cool, what a waste for my birthday boy's dessert???? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Read more
