First time here at Salt 251. On a golf course, this is a great location for weddings or private events, we had so much fun!
This place was great. There wasn't alot of people there when we went (Sunday night). The was only one guy working the bar/eating... area, but he was very attentive. The food was awesome. My burger was a good price for what I got and the chips and salsa thatcame with it was tasty! Check out this local gem! Read more
A friend and I decided to visit this place for dinner. We arrived at around 7 p.m. and there was about 10 people at the bar. A... sign said "seat yourself", so we chose a location in the corner, far from the bar. We were the sole table and the bartender wasalso waiting tables in the dining room. After 15 minutes of waiting to be greeted, she came to our table and sincerelyapologized for not noticing us. A couple of minutes longer and we would have walked out. After a couple months of being open,the restaurant still has a very limited menu. We both ordered cheeseburgers, fries and sodas. While we were waiting for ourfood, the bar crowd was a little bit loud and rowdy, talking about conversations that you wouldn't want your children to hear.After we placed our order, the food came out relatively quickly and was delicious!! My friend said she would definitely comeback for the cheeseburger. Just a few tips to the owner: the entrance being in the back is a bit confusing. There needs to be asign by the sidewalk instead of a note on the door. You never hear any locals talk about Salt 251. Advertising locally andsupporting another local business at the same time could help. The tables right next to the bar make it hard to walk around thebar to the dining room, especially if people are standing near the bar. And if you are going to ask people to seat themselves,make sure the bartender is attentive. An old restaurant across the street used to have similar issues and now is permanentlyclosed. The decor and bar area is very nice! Hopefully the above improvements are made and this local business stays inoperation for a long time! Read more
