Talk about off the beaten path! We drove here from Franklin for the views and we weren?t disappointed. Very curvy roads to... get here. We both ordered burgers and boy were we glad we did! Highly recommend the scrumptious burgers. Hubby enjoyed the onewith mushrooms etc and I ordered the one with ghost pepper Jack cheese! Oh my! We also shared our sides of baked mac?n cheese& the sweet potato fries! Worth the drive! Lovely seating by the creek with umbrellas for shade. A little pricey for a lunchbut worth it for the quality and the view. I wish I could remember our servers name. She was absolutely precious and veryattentive. This is the most beautiful place to go eat lunch or dinner at. The ambiance and scenery was stunning with the river and the... mountains in the background. The hotel is really neat as well. Has an antique and vintage vibe to it. I got the Stella chickensandwich with sweet potato fries (the seasoning on this is really tasty) and it was really delicious minus the fact that itwould have been better on a bun and not on toast and if there had been more sauce on it. The chicken was perfectly cookedthough, very juicy. My bf got the trout fish and chips and it was wonderful. The slaw is fantastic! We had caramel cheesecakefor dessert and it was very yummy! While doing some hiking with my father this past summer, this has been our new go to place when we get out and about; it?s a... good little drive for us but so worth it, we have not been disappointed in anything we have eaten here by far! ( especially thecarrot cake ) We we?re able to get a couple other family members to come with us one day and they were not disappointed. Somedays their are some really cool cars parked for a view or to watch him drive by?. Cute gift shop inside, Dogs are welcome,Excellent scenery and all the staff are kind. Read more
Wow!! This place is amazing. It was our first time here, the views are breathtaking! For starters get the trout nuggets, deep... fried trout you can?t go wrong. For lunch we had sweat tea brined wings, Stella chicken sandwich and a chicken BLT, with a sideof baked mac n cheese, the food was awesome! For dessert we had cheesecake and peanut butter pie.
