The portions are Gigantic, same types of food as a hibachi restaurant for 1/2 the price, staff was awesome! They have the same... types of special fried rice and noodles as hibachi restaurants but they taste even better, everything is fresh cooked in thekitchen. Very authentic, highly recommend this. I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. It sounds simple but I love a good lo mein, and I've tried most places in... town. Today was my first time here and it's already my favorite Asian restaurant in town. The guy working was super nice, theirmenu has plenty of good options without being overwhelming, and the food was surprisingly good. I know this sounds dumb, butwhen I opened my to go order it felt like they read my mind and knew exactly how I wanted it prepared. It was tofu lo mein, butthey didn't cram it full of celery or some other garbage vegetable. It had perfectly cooked broccoli, carrots, zucchini, andonions, and the tofu wasn't a leathery soggy sponge like I've gotten at other places. The tofu pieces here were like tastylittle pillows. He wasn't stingy with the sauce, the order came out quickly, and the portion was generous for the price. I knowthis seems like a lot of detail, but it was just a refreshing experience when it's hard for me to find a restaurant that hitsall of the notes. Nice atmosphere. The booths have comfy seats, and there are a couple TVs. Service was friendly and quick. The portions of food... were huge for takeout! Officially one of my favorite places to eat in Roanoke. There is a reason why there are so many good reviews of this spot.... Service was exceptional and food was absolutely amazing. Great food, nice service, and very reasonable prices. The portion sizes have plenty of food!! You can also order boba here.... Highly recommend. The seating area is a little small, so keep in mind is case they are busy. Read more
