I have not been disappointed yet with a meal I have eaten here. Have been here on many occasions and most times including this... one, the service from order to being on your table is quick. Aside from the food which taste fresh, they have a selection of hotteas for those like me who like a hot cup of tea at any time and fresh baked desserts. The staff has always been kind and theatmosphere is quiet so it feels cozy. Absolutely delicious! The MJ sandwich is wonderful - a definite hit with fried green tomatoes. I recommend the pasta salad for a... side. Plus, they have huge cream puffs that are heavenly! If you don't like cream puffs, the peanut butter bar is also good fora sweet tooth - and the portion sizes on our bars were large as well. The restaurant has an interior entrance at the strip mall. It was still pretty busy with late lunchers like us on a Friday... afternoon. Menu is a mix of entrees and sandwiches/hand helds. We opted for the Turkey Reuben and Dragon's Tooth" eggplantcutlet sandwiches on grilled and buttered thick slices of your choice of bread. Both were deliciously warm and cheesy and cameout fast! It had been too long since I ate here, so I just peeked in to see the goody counter, asked about the soup and had to try it!... Very welcoming environment, the H&C coffee- mmm, aromatic and fresh! I stopped in with my wife to get some deserts and was pleased with the place. We spoke with a very friendly and helpful staff... member, and I noted the nice, cafe-styled atmosphere. The deserts we got we're great - their blondies remind me of ooey gooeybutter cakes, if you're familiar with the st. Louis delicacy. Read more
