Came to Well Hung for brunch, first time going there ever. Menu had no normal breakfast items and when asked if they could give... individual items (eggs, bacon, toast) they said they do not serve sides. Friend had a gluten allergy and the server insisted sheget the flatbread pizza cause of the gluten free bread but didn’t know anything else to recommend. In the photo is the BrunchPotato Skins, which I thought were horrible and had way too much spice similar to a curry sauce. It wasn’t very busy and ittook forever to get our food as well, the service was just overall not great. I know this place is known for wine so I’m sureon that end it may be good, but I think it’s just overhyped and my group and I rather not go here again. Read more
This is one of the only winery places that has had a real menu that I’ve been to. Maybe that’s normal here, but not back... home. Also the first I’ve been to with 4 different wine slushes at the same time. Read more
Tried the Shrimp and Grits and Chicken and Waffles with Mimosas on their Sunday Brunch menu and they were good. The cherry... tomatoes with the Shrimp n Grits did not go well with the rest of the dish. The fried Chicken in the Chicken and Waffles wasvery good, but the pear sugar dusted waffle had WAY too much sugar on it (was too crunchy, hardly even tasted like a waffle) Iwould personally dial it back. The bell peppers did not bring anything, flavorwise, to the dish. Overall modern atmosphere,clean bathrooms and nice servers. They have live music on sundays. Try their wine infused coffee! I have also ordered their Mr.Smokehouse burger and it was very tasty, would definitely order that again. It is one of my favorite burgers in town. Read more
3rd time visiting Roanoke and decided to try this restaurant. I think they are Irish. What an interesting place! Love the... wine. The staff is super friendly. Food is great. Nothing bad to say. Will be back again to keep trying their brunch menu. Read more
