The BEST sushi in Roanoke. Santiago is a genius chef, and the whole front of shop crew really knows how to take care of you. My... drink are always filled, and belly always full during my time at Wasabi. I highly recommend the Sumo roll. It?s everyone?sfavorite roll, is very filling, and so so tasty. I also am obsessed with their fried ice cream. It?s the best I?ve ever had! Andthey have a ton of great beverage options. Their plum wine is to die for! If you?re getting dinner (no matter the day of theweek), I suggest calling ahead to get a reservation. They are ALWAYS busy, and for good reason!! Have not been here in almost two years so I decided to come back because I was downtown and wanted something close. I remember... now why I LOVE this place! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. They were very busy for a Wednesdaynight but our food came out fast and it was delicious! Loved the cold Tofu appetizer, and all the sushi and sashimi was veryfresh. And the Sumo Roll was to die for! Great place great food! ?????????????? Read more
Generous portions of high quality sushi. I also had the Sumo Roll and it was pretty good. Just be advised that the Sumo isn?t... sushi per se. it?s cooked, warm, and lots of sauce. My pix are from when I got my pick up order home. Read more
Far exceeded my expectations! I had the Sashimi Special for lunch. Incredible! Portion sizes were great, taste was spot on,... and the price was very reasonable. Might be the best meal I've ever had actually! Read more
