My wife and I ate here on 7/11/2022. The place is easy to find, smaller in size then I thought but there was no wait on the... night we visited. Personality of the staff was good and attentive. Cost of the meal with tea and dessert ran a little over $20each. The menu has a variety but appeared to be heavy toward seafood. We had a burger and the baked spaghetti. The taste of theburger was very good. My wife liked the spaghetti. The quantity of the food was satisfying and the food on other patrons plateslooked delicious. For desert we had the cheese cake. This has been my third very poor experience with Shakers, via Door Dash, and I think they?re out of strikes with me. When I used... to dine-in at Shakers, I always ordered my favorite menu item, the feta chicken salad. Normally, it included strips of verytender roasted white meat chicken. However, every time I?ve ordered it for delivery through Door Dash, the chicken consists ofsmall scraps of hard (presumably cooked much earlier in the day) skin with trace amounts of inedible meat and fat attached. Ifyou wanted to eat this chicken, and I don?t think you would, you couldn?t because it?s impossible to chew it. The quality isentirely unacceptable, and I will never again pay $14.63, plus tax, Door Dash?s delivery charge, and driver tip, for a pile oflettuce, with a sprinkling of feta and chopped walnuts, some carrot shreds, and a handful of inedible chicken scraps that Ididn?t feed my little dog because I was worried she?d choke on them. EXPENSIVE....(but)..... I had never been here before and really wasn't impressed with the prices. The waitress was a little out... there but was pretty good. We started out with an appetizer of a $13.00 nachos and it was really good. Then the baked spaghettiwas also pretty good but very watery underneath. So I may or may not go back. Read more
Ordered steak with my girlfriend on vacation. We ask for medium rare steaks and they gave it to us both medium well. They told... us the mac and cheese was baked.......but it wasnt. Possibly the worst mac and cheese I've ever seen. Basically noodles with nocheese. The sweet potato you can tell was made in a microwave due to how deflated it was presented to us. Possibly the smallestsweet potato I've seen with a huge amount of butter that was bigger than the potato itself. The au gratin potatoes looked likehash brown potatoes formed into a crab cake. The waitress wasnt too bad and the malibu sunset drink was probably the only thingmaking me want to give this review 2 stars. Please do better. At least know how to make mac and cheese and traditional au gratinpotatoes. If I wanted hash brown potatoes with cheese in it, I would have went to Waffle House. Read more
