Somehow I was extremely lucky when it comes to food poisoning. However, my girlfriend was not as lucky. She could not stop... vomiting with tons of stomach cramps. The server was very nice refilled drinks and such, but the food was lukewarm at best, thepastries were stale, and the ice cream had seemed to have been sitting in the freezer for an undetermined amount of time withsome weird yellow ice at the side of the sticky styrofoam cup. Also there was the cheesecake like dessert that was completelyfrozen. Don?t go here, If you don?t want to spend the night throwing up and wishing you went to five guys instead. Read more
Do not waste your time on this place. Go to Red Palace at Valley View the food is so much better and the wait staff is... wonderful. The wait staff here is rude. Our waitress never refilled our waters, she reached across us to grab things off thebumping into me. She also took my teacup before we were finished drinking tea. Spoke to the manager about the staff and hedidn't even care what my opinion was. He basically said if we didn't like it we could eat elsewhere. To top it off theirrestrooms are nasty and smell awful. I love this restaurant for it's great service, nice atmosphere and plentiful, flavorful food. Of course, all the dishes are... "Americanized" and are delicious, with a wide variety at the buffet. The buffet features soups, fried type appetizers, a saladand fruit bar, entrees with various sauces available, a dessert bar and ice cream. They provide plastic gloves to use at thebuffet to reduce contamination. Read more
A majority of the food was overcooked and cold. I didn't go expecting a five star restaurant, but I didn't expect soggy onion... rings or chicken hard enough to break teeth. Even the salad bar was disappointing. Hard cheese, stale croutons, one choice ofdressing. Read more
Please don?t confuse this place with the Red Palace restaurant near valley view mall. This Tanglewood restaurant is pure... trash. I spent 17.99 on the worst Chinese food buffet I had ever eaten. I can in at 7:40 pm and the food was not close to beingfresh. Most all chicken was hard as a rock, dishes on the buffet were empty or just scraps left in the pans. I waited patientlyto see if they would refill with fresh food. 830 PM no food was topped off. The waitress came by to get my plate and neverrefilled my tea that I will say was the best part of the whole meal. Egg rolls were old and hard as a rock. Sweat and sourchicken was as hard as rocks. Save your money and eat at Panda Express. Or Red Palace at Valley View Mall. The Front desk person?manager? didn?t care what my opinion was. And that?s fair. So I?ll voice it here to customers. Oh BTW they have signs all overthe restaurant saying face masks and glove are required. And the staff wasn?t handling the food with gloves or a mask. But Ididn?t nor was I going to follow the signs I can go else where and wish I did. Read more
Lunch buffet ends at 3:30, so we paid $15 per meal at 3:45. General TSO sauce was watered down, and, most of the entrees were... flavorless. A lot of the food cooled too quickly, making me think that the internal temperature wasn't as high as it needed tobe. A cheesecake-looking dessert was set out, but, it was frozen, and required additional time to thaw. Very disappointed. Read more
Went there around 815 pm to get dinner with my daughter. Buffet was low on foods and soups and missing several items. During the... visit these items were never restocked. Disappointed that they didn't attempt to serve fresh food to the customers that werestill eating or coming in to eat. Read more
Won't be going here again. Messed up the order for the valley view one and ended up here. Flavorless and oversoft lo mein,... wonton soup broth may as well have been water, and the bao bao for 2 is seriously lacking. Overall bad and cold like it wastaken right off the buffet.
