This spot is really nice. I was super excited to eat here since Venezuelan food is amazing! Their Arepas are very very good. I... like the pabellon. They also have their asada which is different than other Carne asada. Very good. I would definitely eat thereagain. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the tequeños. I am not sure if the tequeños have different variations indifferent cities within Venezuela but these are nothing like the ones I have eaten which kind of let me down but everything elseis great. Super tasty. Read more

Katies was our server and bartender and drinks were great! We also LOVED the meat lovers pizza. One of the best we've ever had!

Got a margarita pizza, Reina Pepiada, plantains and Papelon Con Limon . For the pizza: the crust wasn't very flavorful and not... crispy and is the only thing keeping the pizza from being five star worthy. The tomato was ripe and fresh, the mozzarella cheesewas creamy, and the basil was fresh. The Reina Pepiada: The arepa was very nicely crisped and had lovely flavor. The fillingthough, ... It was heavier on the mayo content that I would have preferred making it like a "slurp sauce". The chicken wasn'tzesty and there wasn't any lime flavor that I could detect. The avacado was nice and ripe and the amount of filling in the arepawas definitely a plus for a hungry person that has been walking all day. The plaintains were perfect. They had a nice crisp onparts and were just tender enough without being mush. The Papelon Con Limon was tastey. The unrefined cane sugar (similar to butdifferent than the flavor of brown sugar) is difficult to describe but adds sweetness and a savoriness to the drink. If youhaven't tried it yet it's definitely worth giving a go. Read more

My wife is Venezuelan so we have high expectations for Venezuelan food and Leonore has some of the best, authentic Venezuelan... food we have ever had!! The cilantro sauce (crema de cilantro) is the best I have ever had and is to do die for! The asado(brisket like meat) was so tender and amazing. Our server, Kachina, was spectacular. She was so attentive and fun to talkto! Also, we did try some Italian food such as the cheesy bread and it was great as well! It's awesome that Roanoke has such agreat, authentic, and well priced spot to experience amazing Venezuelan and Italian cuisine. Read more

So happy to run across this gem by accident. I thought there were no arepas in Roanoke. I can't speak to their Italian food...... only arepas and deserts so far. But don't skip the mango juice. Great food! And great service I always pick up takeout but it'sa great restaurant environment inside that I will enjoy one day when time allows. Read more

Really enjoyed this place! Small, cozy environment. I got the garlic knots (splurge for the mozzarella) and the Venezuelan... shredded beef with fried egg, black beans, rice and avocado. My friend got the veggie pizza and enjoyed it. Our waitress waskind and funny but a little distracted. Cocktails were good! Read more
