This place has been here ever since I was a kid :) They serve a bunch of different flavors of Hershey ice cream. They also have... an assortment of candy and ty beanie baby merchandise. The indoor seating always stays cool, but there is also seating outside. Read more
When we lived in Roanoke, we'd go all the time! Now that we're farther away, it's more difficult, but my grandmother suggests it... every time she's here. She loves Katie's because they had some sort of mint flavor (I think it was peppermint? Been a while,wasn't chocolate mint chip though) all year round. Read more
Me and family decided get ice cream. Milkshakes me and my wife got were frozen not mixed and hard to drink. Oh my mistake that's... one me and my wife got from Sonic the one my kids wanted on way home looked awesome and they said this is their new go to spotnow. We definitely will be going here more. Katie's Ice Cream and Chocolates is a wonderful ice cream shop. This place has everything you can imagine. Ice cream, frozen... yogurt, soft serve, etc. And the selection of ice cream flavors is huge. Best of all the prices are really reasonable. I hada two scope hot fudge Sunday and it was terrific!
