Some of the worst food I've ever paid for, a truly uninteresting and lazy menu. The food is prepared slowly and poorly. The... "homemade gnocchi" tasted like canned chicken n dumplings rinsed off and served in their tomato soup. Large beer selection but anon-functional tap. Ran out of some bottled beer while I was there. My wife and I truly enjoy eating out. This place is one of our top five that we've ever been to. The wait staff was excellent,... and the food was just absolutely delicious. We both loved our meals hugely, hugely, and even more hugely. I had dip and theportion was huge- it could nearly have been a meal on itself. The sausage from Chicago was plump, really tasty and was terrific.We also had a dish called Gnochi and that was quite good as well. Read more
Wow they really turned this place into something special for the Roanoke area. This particular spot has had several restaurants... that closed down but hopefully this one will stay. The food is amazing and really excellent prices, good service and theyremodeled the inside which was beautiful. We had shrimp and grits (wonderful), oysters, fried green tomatoes, caprese flatbreadand the mac and cheese bites. Everything was superb, highly, highly recommend this place if you're looking for somethingdifferent in the area with exceptional food! Read more
Average... We came early for a Saturday lunch. Food selection on the menu was good. My son loved the tacos. My shrimp and grits... were pretty good - definitely better than no shrimp and grits, heavier seasoning than I expected with lots of delicious butter.Loved the touch of newspaper in the presentation! The updated decor is cold, literally and aesthetically. Lots of concrete andmetal. It does make the gorgeous bar stand out, though! The service matched the decor. Nothing really stood out. Pulled Pork sandwich was delicious! As were the mac and cheese bites and fried green tomatoes! The chicken tenders were moist... and perfectly fried. The fries were fresh and very tasty. The picture of the burger speaks for itself - we couldn't wait to digin! Service was amazing - our waitress checked on us multiple times and was very personable. Went on Saturday October 8th for my 10th anniversary. It was our first time eating here. We loved everything about our visit. ... Our server was awesome. He was very thorough and had a great personality. The food was amazing as well. We tried a fewdifferent items as we usually do when we eat somewhere for the first time. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Highlyrecommend to anyone looking for a great meal and a great time!!! We will definitely be back! Read more
