Upon moving here and looking for good sushi I was directed to Ben Gui. I've been 3 or 4 times now in the last year and the... consistency is always there. The sushi rolls range from your usual to well thought out specialty rolls. The service is alwaysswift and polite. You never feel in a rush to order or to leave. Even when it's more busy the atmosphere is gentle andrelaxing. All in all I would choose this as my first sushi restaurant before traveling to other spots. Read more

The most fresh and delicious sushi, and one of the few places you can get white tuna! Amazing selection of wine and beer. Nicest... ambiance of any sushi restaurant in the Roanoke area, hands down. My wife said the sushi was okay. However, the "chicken teriyaki" was literally cheap Chinese food of the lowest quality... possible. How can you honestly care about your reputation if you're serving garbage like that no matter how much you claim tofocus on your sushi? Do not eat here, Chinese people playing at Japanese food, such a scam, these people do not care aboutquality or service. Charge you for bottled water. This restaurant charges you for water. What kind of restaurant charges your for water? I have never been to a restaurant in... America where they force you to pay money to drink water. Probably best sushi in the Roanoke area. The house soup was delicious and very filling, however wouldn?t recommend the dumplings... somewhat disappointed with them. The sushi was excellent and especially the iCrunchy roll was amazing. Read more
