We're in town for a wedding and found this gem through other Google reviews. This Cafe did not disappoint, high marks for... friendly service, coffee refills, order taken in a timely manner and of course the food arrived hot, and delicious. Our partyordered biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs, they were very generous with the scrumptious gravy and my goodness the biscuitswere fluffy, other orders included the ham and cheese omelet and the 3 egg breakfast with sausage. Everyone ate their breakfast.Come here with an appetite! Definitely recommend Dove Creek Cafe. Read more

Delicious breakfast! I had a fried chicken biscuit with sausage gravy! It also came with two eggs and two bacon strips. Sooooo... much food, you won?t leave hungry for sure! I got a pancake on the side, beware they?re huge! As big as the plate it?s on (alarge round plate). The service wasn?t amazing, our server seemed to be a little short with us. But the food was good so I canlet that slide. We will probably come back again! Read more

Tried this place after ten years on the ban list. Service is better though the hostess was MIA for about ten minutes while folks... queued up at the front door. Food came quickly and looked ok, but was overly dry like it had sat on the corner of the griddle tostay warm for a while...strange because I was a table for one. Same with the English muffins, as they too were dried out andshowed no signs of butter or having been on the griddle. The patrons consisted of confused, disappointed tourists andold-timers that had been ordering the same thing for fourty years. Bummer, because I live in Roanoke and love to support localbusinesses, but I'll go wait in the queue at Old West in Denton instead. Read more

We decided to go to Dove Creek Café for lunch after visiting with our daughter and her family. This is a lovely traditional... café serving breakfast and lunch. The prices are very reasonable and you get plenty food with your order. Husband had chickenfried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. That chicken fried steak was huge. He almost finished it. I order thecheeseburger and fries with a side of chili for my burger. Everything was very good and I ended up bringing half home as therewas just so much I could not finish it. I really wanted to try their desserts as my husband said they were always good. I justdidn't have any room left for any. Our waitress was Josie and she was very sweet and attentive. While we were there for lunchthe place was packed. Yet everyone seemed to be getting all the good service you would hope for. I expect that we will begoing again. My husband has been there many times as he used to work nearby. This was my first visit and I thoroughly enjoyedit. Read more
