The location in small-town USA, Roanoke is adorable. We took 3 hungry teenagers on a Friday night..it took some time to get our... name in and we had about a 45 min wait. We heard it would be worth it so we took our beeper around the corner to explore thefarmers market. We got in earlier than anticipated. It was pretty crowded but our party of 5 got a great seat on the outsideporch away from the congestion. Our server was personable and had good suggestions. We got a 14" NY style crust *great choice, half taco and half BBQ pit. BBQ pit would have only been better if the fried onions were a little thinner, but the flavor abdtexture were a flavor rush. Not at all overpowered with BBQ, but there's extra on the table if you need it. The taco pizza wasawesome. The toppings were very fresh. The youngest in our group ordered pasta Alfredo minus the chicken and it came out ovenbaked and beautiful. Exceeded expectations! The nachos were the only bummer. The chips were really dense, with a stale crunch. They were piled high but too much fresh jalapeño for my daughter. They were way too hot. The server kinda shrugged that off anddidn't try to offer something else. They carry Coke products which was a huge plus. Also you can scan and pay your bill fromyour phone, stars for that too! We will definitely be coming here regularly. Delicious pizza! Read more

We had never heard of it before and we love trying the local mom & pop pizza joints, so we checked it out. The fact they also... offer BBQ was a bonus. From the time we walked in until we left we felt like family. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Our server Andrea was absolutely amazing! Greeted us in a very timely manner, took our drink order, and gave us as much time aswe needed to pick just the right lunch items. My daughter ordered spaghetti and said she will get it every time we go. I ordereda meat pizza and smoked BBQ wings and of course ice cold beer to wash it all down. Everything was fantastic! A wonderful hiddengem tucked right off the highway in Roanoke, IN. Who knew? Read more

The atmosphere is great and I really like the concept, but consistently poor service and mediocre food will keep me from... returning. I have eaten here four times, and only had one good experience. The BBQ smells great, but lacks much real flavor. The last three times we have received terrible service, and a real lack of apology for it. The third trip here, our food cameout very sporadically, and only one plate at a time about 10 minutes apart. Appetizers and salads came out after the maindishes, and I never got my food even after my entire family had already eaten theirs. I had to tell them to remove my orderfrom the bill as I refused to wait another 30-40 minutes to make a simple grinder sandwich. Last night was our fourth visit, and it re-affirmed that I will not be returning. They were about 50% full when we arrived. We waited about 20 minutes before awaitress ever acknowledged our presence. There were 4 waitresses staffed, which should be plenty for this small place. Weordered 2 simple drinks and a few appetizers to share. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, which is not bad. Itwas simple nachos and green bean appetizers. Still had not received our drinks, or even water for that matter. Our waitressfinally brought us some waters, but not our drink order. We were actually finished with our meal before the "bartender" finallybrought our drinks out. We got the impression that the wait staff really did not care. We watched others order and receivetheir orders before we did ours. What a shame, we are local and would love to come more often, but the mediocrity of the foodand the terrible service is a deal breaker for me. Read more

Great atmosphere and good food. The pizza was excellent, but the meats aren't smoked. They're juicy, due to being prepared in a... slow cooker, but not smokey. The BBQ sauces are good but they all taste the same. They are differentiated by zip, which is finebecause I like the flavor of their sauce and I like spicy food. So I appreciate not having to sacrifice taste for zing. Read more
