Usually when I go try a new restaurant for the first time, I'll go in with an open mind with conflicting reviews. But I was... wrong. For this restaurant to be called the Fried Flavor, I find it to be very contradicting to say the least. How can you callyourself the Fried Flavor when your food lacks flavor. Living in the Ruskin/Riverview area, finding a really good wing spot hasbeen very elusive. So I said, why not just give this spot a try. Let's just say this will be my first and last time visitingthis restaurant. So for you all who enjoys eating unseasoned food, this restaurant will be good for you. For those who prefertheir food to be seasoned with flavor, this restaurant is not for you. Save yourself the trip and the headache. The price that Ipaid for my food was definitely not worth the price. Unseasoned chicken and bland rice. The only positive things I can say aboutthis place is, the staff were nice and the chicken was cooked. Other than that, I don't recommend. Such a huge disappointment! Read more

The Lemon Pepper wings are like crack. I've never had crack, but I've heard stories. When I think of eating them, my mouth... starts to salivate and I can taste the lemon before I even order. I've never had lemon pepper flavoring so I can't compare it toanything else, (my hubby says it's a common flavor in wing spots), it's damn good. I eat them at least 2x's a month atminimum. They're cooked perfectly. The fat is gone, the skin is crunchy. I hate when chicken is fatty, that's undercooked tome. I'm a texture eater and these are spot on. They also have built in vents for the chicken container for carryout so it's notsoggy when you get it home. One time I grabbed some from Wing Stop around the corner cause this place was closed, I wascompletely disappointed, I couldn't finish my order. They were fatty, and soggy wings, no lemon pepper crack sauce. My ratingis for the chicken only. I've tried other things (fries, shrimp) and am I was not impressed. It's busy, and it's small. If youwant to eat in, there are tables and seating. We don't have a ton of food options close by and Fl is overpopulated compared toretail and food here so bring your patience. There's normally teenage kids working there, who aren't super trained on customerservice, but they're kids so they're doing the best they know how to. Idc though, cause the wings are so damn good. I love to tip well and generally do, however I am through with restaurants that ask you to tip prior to being served! I went to... such a place today, Fried Flavor off of Big Bend Road in Riverview FL. It was over the counter take out. No biggie I gave a tipin advance for the shrimp I ordered as the cashier was nice enough. When my order was up they gave me cocktail sauce. I likemine mixed with tarter sauce as well. When I asked for it they told me that would be an extra charge. Not the cashiers faultbut that establishment just got an unearned tip for good customer service but lost at least one families future business. Read more

We normally have no issues here. Did a late order for our teen and 10 year old last night after a long day at the hospital. We... picked up 15 minutes before Fried flavors closed. But the time we got home my 10 year old daughter took a bite of her burger andate it. She thought nothing of it but noticed how pink it was when picking up her burger for the 2nd bite. She told me her meatwas pink and didn't look done. Too bad she had already swallowed her first bite!!! The fact that this meat was pure raw in themiddle is just disgusting...imagine had I have this to my younger child who would've thought nothing of it. I will be going tothe establishment and telling them about themselves and praying my daughter does not get sick. I can't imagine the time they letthis burger cook and how they could think it was done. Read more

First time going, thought I?d give it a shot. Was not impressed at ALL. Being honest, I ordered the Philly cheesesteak & it was... the worst one I?ve tried. Fries were okay. I mean who can go wrong with fries? However, the fried rice was also not very tasty, and the wings were dry. First & last time coming. Wouldn?t waste any money here. Read more

This was my second visit. Once was on a Friday night and it was a pretty long wait, but again...it was a Friday night. The food... was ok...good enough for me to give it a second try for sure. The wait was really long though...didn't seem organized. Thesecond time...I went during the day, not as crowded, and I ordered something different. The first time I ordered the wings andfries...it was ok. This time, I ordered a burger and fries, and similar to the first time, I waited for a good amount of time..although it was not as crowded this time. In my mind, I ordered two things, and the restaurant was not too crowded...but, Iwaited because the food is cooked to order, for the most part. I specifically asked for no mustard on my burger. ** Please seethe pics and the receipt - I was clear...no mustard. The cashier heard me, and it was printed on my receipt - confirmation;assignment understood. However, as you can see, the burger still has mustard on it, despite clear instructions to not. For a$10 burger that I had to wait a pretty decent amount of time for, even though the restaurant was not that crowded...I expectedmy order to be accurate. It will be a while, before I return, if ever. This may not be a big deal to some people, and in thescheme of things, it's not to me either. But, if I'm paying for something, and I specifically asked for no mustard on myburger, then I don't expect to see mustard on my burger. I'm an attention to detail kind of person...if you missed somethingthat obvious, then what else are you missing? Makes me wonder too much...they need more time to get organized, and hire theright people...hire the right people, put them in the right places, and have them do the right thing(s). My money is importantto me...I don't like wasting it at a restaurant when the service level is not yet high enough, and the heart of the houseemployees do not pay close enough attention to orders, when they're not even that busy...it wastes MY time Read more

Not bad all around. I tried the Catfish on Friday and the Philly Cheese Steak tonight. I have to say that everything was pretty... good. It's nice to have an American Deli-esque restaurant nearby. I have to watch the fried foods but it's pretty good stuff. Iwas upset that I never got to try Peck's when it was at this location and decided to give this place a shot. It wasn't a badidea. The prices aren't too bad and the employees were friendly enough. I live a bit away and had to do some things beforefinally eating and the food was still warm. I'd have to say that this establishment is one that you have to try at least once.It would've been nice if the Cole slaw were a dollar cheaper as the small (only size for the slaw) is just that. The slaw wasn'tso bad. I really need to try the wings when I get a chance but thus far, the Catfish and Cheese Steak were pretty good. Not tomention the fries. The female employee that works there wears a mask (she was wearing one on both times that I arrived) which isalways nice to see. I think that it's also a big plus that you can actually see them preparing the food, so that's very nice. Read more

The Restaurant Clean and they cook in front of you. The fish and fries are so fresh. The best customer service. The food is... so so so good and the container has holes in it to keep the condensation off the food. Love this place. Read more
