Finally made the trip up from Sarasota to try this place. Haven't had legit Filipino food since moving to SRQ in 2021. It was... soooo worth the drive!! I ordered ahead for pickup using Doordash at 1030AM for a 1245 pickup - lumpia, dinaguan, kare kare, crispy pata and lechon belly roll ???? There was a little snafu and I didn't get the lechon belly roll ???? but they offered mea refund AND threw in an order of their lechon kawali!! This place is awesome and Ate Veronica (I assume that's who helped me atthe window) is a very special lady. I totally got Manila vibes being around all the other Pinoys, just listening to the randomconversations in Tagalog. Will definitely be back ?? ???????? ?? ???????? Read more

This place speaks culture. I?m not sure how large or small the Filipino community is here I n the area, but I can guarantee they... are much appreciated of Manila Eats. Not only did my family receive delicious food, but we also received a history lesson too! Thanks to Veronica! She talked about the history of some of the ingredients in her menu items. Manila Eats offers a dailyspecial menu along with authentic new featured items from time to time. While we were there, we had several people follow behindus and hop in line?.this place is definitely popular! I?m happy for their success! And I?m so glad we got to try Filipinocuisine for the first time ???? what a nice treat! Manila eats is a cute food truck producing delicious fresh menu items! Theyoffer a cute shaded outside sitting area too. Definitely come check them out! They offer lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, anddesserts! My parents tried the pork adobo and loved it! Read more

My first time to try their food and it didn?t fail me. The sago?t gulaman is simply the best. The taste is the same from... Philippines, even the sago and gulaman. Chicharon bulaklak is to die for. Very crispy, just enough seasoning and deep fried toperfection. I did not expect to have a soft, hot and fluffy white rice. The halo2 was so delicious too and not to mention theirspring roll. Ate was so nice and friendly. Very accomodating and you will really feel like home. I will be a regular from nowon. Read more

I pass this place all the time and never noticed it because it?s so small and just out of my normal eye range along the highway,... but it?s definitely a hidden GEM! I was so impressed by my experience and the service I received, I?m already planning my nexttrip to taste more delicious food. Today I had braised beef with rice of course, and lumpia. Since it was hot outside and myfirst time there, I also ordered halo halo which was my absolute favorite item today and the star although everything was verytasty and delicious. Next time I?m going to order just the flan by itself because it was so creamy and rich in my halo halo, Ineed more of it by itself! I?m not familiar with Philippine food or seasonings, but I?m going to try to describe the flavor ofthe beef: first thing I noticed was how TENDER it is, with succulent texture and a thick, rich savory stewy gravy/sauce withthis deep umami flavor I?ve never had before. It tasted like it might be soy-based and left an aftertaste on the palatesomething like licorice! I saw a bay leaf in there too, and I?m guessing there?s garlic... It?s honestly superb and so differentfrom the takeout I usually order. It feels like comfort food and real home cooking. I HAD to give this place 5 stars as I couldnot be more happy with my selections today, and highly recommend. Read more
