I sat down by the window in the afternoon about 3pm. I looked around and noticed that the windows next to me were splattered... with something that was stuck on and never cleaned. So I looked at the floor and it was also dirty. I ordered my food and as Iwas getting ready to go, I asked for a small amount (size of the butter dish) of sauce because the pasta was dry. My waiter toldme he would take it to the back. I said okay. He also asked if I needed it to be hot I said no. He came back with the box, Ilooked inside, to find sauce overload. It was not the meat sauce as I originally ordered. It was a cold raw uncooked marinarasauce. and then the waiter says you know they?re going to charge you for extra sauce? I said I don?t think they?re going tocharge me for extra sauce because this is not the sauce that I originally had on my pasta this sauce has ruined my pasta andthey drenched it in my pasta I had to scrape it off put it into another container and try to give it away to my friend because Ididn?t want to eat it after that! Wake up and pay attention to your customers. If they order meat sauce they don?t want rawmarinara on it. If they ask for a little, they don?t mean a ton .If I ordered spaghetti and meat sauce, for $17.95 a plate Iguess I expected better service! Read more
Love this Place! Love the food, everyone is always friendly, including the owner. We have been back no less than 20 times.... Everyone we tell about this place goes, and loves it as well. No complaints. The ONLY thing we ALL agree on is that we wouldlike to see this place get a makeover. The place is a little rough around the edges, and we don't mind, but we all agree thatthe place could use a simple cleaning, some paint, and some matching art on the walls. We all love the place so much we'd bewilling to help do the makeover! Let's have a makeover party! Five stars if it wasn't a little rough around the edges.Unfortunately people see these things when they walk in and can't help but think that it carries over to the kitchen. Food is always good here, I will start with that. I am really disappointed with the service charge on our to go order my husband... didn?t notice when paying. He additionally tipped them off of the total including that service fee. So technically a $21 tip onto go food for three meals. Reply to owner: I actually placed the order myself on the phone and can confirm not only did theynot mention the 15% I never received a total (I was going to give my husband cash for the order but never received a total).Also they never mentioned it to my husband in the store. I am a server and appalled by your response! The fact that all the nicecomments don?t even get a thank you, but you want to be sassy to anything negative. Our 1st time in the restaurant looked like I was moved in to quite hastily walls needed painting chair rail all Scuffed.... But... they did have table cloths.... Their menus were higher than their menus online which is almost a bait and switch...... Orderedthe lasagna Which was good... Sauce was steaming hot but the lasagna was room temperature at best some bites were cool..... Goodfresh homemade baked bread... For those prices I want good food and ambiance..... I have been coming to this restaurant since I was 6 years old, it was called the Laughing Cat at the time and then moved... locations and had a name change. It has always been AMAZING! The food portions are great, the prices are reasonable because theymake everything from scratch and comes out fresh! Went few weeks ago food was amazing!! Our server was spectacular unfortunately I can't remember his name but was like only dude... working night I went with my dad. Bread is great, food was on point and service was wonderful. Best veggies I've had hands down.Felt like Nonna was in the back throwing down lol. Only thing is make sure you check your to-go order. Said no mushrooms for mymom's food and it was full of them, she wasn't too happy. But outside of that everything was great will definitely be back! Read more
Best Italian food I have ever had my entire life and I am from New York. The chicken on both dishes were tender and the sauces... on both plates were amazing. The chef really knows how to cook. The veggies were cooked perfectly and I loved the generousamount of garlic. We can?t wait to come back. Read more
Took my team there tonight to celebrate the Holidays a bit early. My first time there, and it will not be my last. All of us got... a different meal, plus an appetizer and everything was phenomenal. And SO MUCH FOOD. For the same price tag or more in Tampa,you would get 3 pieces of Ravioli on your plate. Here you get a humongous plate, veggies and pasta to share at the table, andplenty of leftovers. Our server Matt was excellent and very friendly and so was the chef/owner.
