Nice hacienda vibe but food was terrible. The tamales were not fluffy and they were literally just masa. Pozole was very oily... and lacked flavor. This is not authentic Mexican food. Los tamales estan duros y son de pura masa. El pozole esta grasoso y sinsabor. Read more

I decided to try it for the first time, and I was terribly disappointed. I ordered a sopa de tortilla, it was a vegetable soup... not a real sopa de tortilla, and it was too salty. They try to make it sound like a Mexican food restaurant, but it is not evenclose. Read more

Disappointed. This is the vegetarian tamale. It should have roasted corn, peppers and cheese. It's literally nothing but masa.... When you're building a tamale you can see with your own two eyes what you're stuffing it with. They still sold this knowing itwas nothing but masa, so they are knowingly ripping off their customers. The masa was disgustingly sweet also, like dessertsweet. Tamale Factory used to be good years and years ago. Will never be back, grocery store tamales have better flavor andactually have stuff inside. Read more

We ended up here after visiting the Mission Christmas lights. Not impressed with the lights at the Mission. However, we were... walking around the area and found this place. The chicken and pork tamales were quite delicious. Moist. Very tasty. I LOVEDthe beans and rice. Just like I would make at home. Very tasty. Although the Mission Christmas lights were a loss IMHO, thisrestaurant made the night. Read more

Decided to stop for brunch and ordered the 2 tamale plate with rice and beans. Husband order green chilaquiles that came with... potatoes and beans. The chilaquiles was basically a layered casserole of tortillas and you had a choice of red or green sauce. Iselected the pork and sweet corn tamale. The pork tamale was tender pork and the masa was pretty soft. The corn tamale was sweetand tasted good but the masa was not as soft as the pork tamale. Loved the spinach pineapple Aqua Fresca and the service wasgreat. I don?t think I would come again since you have to pay for parking on mission street. The food was good but not great. Read more
