We tried this restaurant for the first and last time yesterday. This was the worst seafood I have ever eaten. The catfish had... no flavor and instead of fish and chips it should have been called flavorless nuggets, the pieces were so small. The calamariwas so tough and rubbery it was inedible. I have never ordered calamari and didn?t get cocktail sauce and lemon. Unfortunatelywe also ordered Cajun fries and lemon pepper fries and there was basically no seasoning on either one of them. Here is a tucked away little gem. If you like Creole food, Seafood and Crawfish is the place for you. I would have showed you a... picture, but we dug into it so fast and furious it was gone in seconds. After one visit, I'm very happy with Seafood and Crawfish in Riverside. We had a mixed bag of shrimp and crawfish in a mild... Cajun sauce, and while I certainly wouldn't call it spicy, it wasn't exactly mild, either. The flavors were great, and thepreparation was excellent. We added a couple corn cobs and some garlic bread, and it was great. We also had the fried shrimp andfries, which were also excellent. We took it to go, and everything was thought of, down to a paper table covering in the to-gobag. The prices were reasonable, the service was good, and the food was great. I'll definitely be back. So, again, this was ANOTHER shady experience from this establishment. I convinced myself to order from this place yesterday,... the KIDS MEAL was suppose to be free, they charged me $7.99 and $3.50 for a child size coke. I signed an order receipt for $153,but the final receipt showed $166 after I got home. I wrote $0 for tip, because I paid cash, and I checked my account, theycharged me $184.20 Read more
Oh they are cheap when it comes to the paper on the table. It only covers like 3 quarters of it my husband and his friend was ... barely able to eat on top of it. I was like it does not matter we are not cleaning the table. I was kust caeful not to spillanything on the table. The water was not very nice and there was only one person for 7 or 8 tables and thats to much for justone person. We did have to wait for waiter a few times. Its not fair for us and her.i did like the fact that gave us a bottle ofsalt and pepper but it was more salt then pepper. We've been coming to this place for years and every time we go, we say we will never go back..today was the final straw.... Althought the food is good, sauce is good and it's close by, the service needs serious work. We usually get seated and have towave someone to take our drink order and pur food order. I would understand if they are busy when this happens, but most of thetime they are hanging out talking by the register. Not once has anyone ever stopped by to ask if we need refills, anymorelemons, etc. The service is very poor and not worth the overpriced seafood anymore. I will not be coming back. If you don't mindpoor service and don't mind having to wave someone for more water, or anything else then this place is for you. Read more
