I keep hearing all these bad reviews about the food. I think that it mighy be the back kitchen cooks who don't know how to... prepare or season the food. Asian cuisine is a difficult food to cook if not properly trained as a cook. My California roll wasfalling apart, and the ratio of crab meat didn't add enough. Maybe the kitchen staff needs authentic Asian cuisine training. Don't take it personal kitchen staff it's only to help you guys better the business and bring in more customers. ???? I want to thank the owners for staying open during the pandemic. My mom had been sick for years, lupus, and during the pandemic... we had appointments almost everyday. Rohey's was one of our favorites for lunch. So, thank you for staying open and letting meexperiencing those memories with my mom before she passed away at the beginning of this year. And I apologize to the staff fortoday, I came in today for the first time since the beginning of 2021 when my mom became bed bound and cried while I ate myfood. I wanted so much to express to the staff how much eating here again ment to me and ended up crying again while I tried toexplain and asked for a hug. The food looked great but was bland. I didn't take the left overs home. We had the beef and salmon plate, combo wok plate, and... egg rolls. The salmon was extremely dry! Might have been a day old who knows. The combo wok plate was spicey and the chicken wasdry. Then finally the egg rolls had no flavor! This was bad. Read more
I would've loved to give Rohey's a 5-star review, but today, I ordered a spider roll on my lunch break and I was so hungry I... didn't realize it wasn't what I ordered until after I ate a roll as well as my coworker. The photo in store was basically acatfish for the real thing. I was given a crunchy onion, california roll with eel sauce drizzled on it. I was very disappointedwith what I was served. It does not match the description or the image, and it was not worth the price I paid. There was also nodisclaimer that it does not look like the photo or have all the ingredients listed. So anyone else who orders the rolls, ask ifit comes like the picture before placing an order. I've gotten food from here since, I was in highschool. The food is deliciousand the lady, owner I usually see is awesome so, I didn't have the heart to give it a super low star. An unexpected surprise. A chose this place based on its proximity to a meeting I left and was extremely surprised with the foods... great taste. I had the Combination Yakisoba! Atmosphere is great, if your in the area and looking for a great meal stop by andsee them! Read more
