Stopped by to grab some lunch with my co-workers. The service was fast and courteous. I got the carne asada burrito and it was... good. Had flavor and good taste. Their menu has a decent selection. Over the years it has changed a lot. I order tacos and a drink to go. While I?m waiting I?m checking out there menu and realize... that the drinks are $4 in the menu but the person at register charged me a dollar more. Not once did he asked me what size Iwanted instead he just charged me for the large drink. So when I tell another employee about the mistake, she tells me those arethe new prices so a large drink cost $5. When I mentioned to update her menu she just rolled her eyes like how rude andunprofessional. Since I still didn?t had the drink I told them I didn?t wanted it anymore, I wanted a refund. The employees saidno I can?t. Like seriously why not.. smh. Funny he had no problem keeping the change I was supposed to get back and now hedoesn?t want to give me a refund. Read more
HAPPY HOUR @ MR TACO monday-thursday...3PM - 6PM On Van Buren in Riverside I just wanted to let you know about this cute little... restaurant we came across Mr. Taco Great food and the drinks are strong and delicious. So yum! And they totally redid it where it's all out door. And there's a full bar. And Bad Bunny was playing all loud. I... imagine it would be poppin on a Friday night. We got the quesabirria quesadilla and a large horchata. I also got the mango rimdip for the Modelo at home. They serve chips and salsa at the table. Oh! It's different because they serve you now, waitressstyle where they seat you with a menu and bring out chips and salsa. Went for Dinner on a Friday night, they had a Dj playing a great mix of Hip hop, dance and Mexican music. We walked up the Staff... was quick and friendly to get us seated, get our drink and food order in. Great experience fyi all the seating is under anoutdoor patio so dress accordingly to the weather....we will be back Read more
I was extremely excited to try the California burrito from Mr. Taco and had super high hopes because they are so huge and... photogenic!!! However, the nacho cheese is so overpowering and started to get soggy towards the center of the burrito. The meatis seasoned perfect and the burrito doesn?t lack size, it?s just overwhelmed w nacho cheese sauce. Read more
Use to love this place but over the years the food quality and customer service has really declined. During a recent visit, we... had to ask our server multiple times just for napkins and water and when our drink order finally came, it wasn't what wasordered. Normally, if it was at an extremely busy time I would be more understanding but there were very few other customerstheir at the time. Read more
