A real secret spot on a busy road approaching Downtown Riverhead near the museum and on the river. What could be a better place... to have lunch, a superb lunch that was unmistakably perfect. It had color, form, contrast and good flavor. Everything was topnotch with especially nice friendly service. Parking: There appears to be very little parking on the side of the road but wediscovered a lot across the street with an art gallery that was part of the Farm Country Kitchen establishment. We rested ourSUV over there but watch the traffic on 25A when crossing especially when leaving at night. It would would be nice if there wasa painted crosswalk on the street. Nice ambiance food was varied so hard to rate. Skirt steak was overcooked (to wrong temp) and risotto was mush. There was big... rubber band in rigatoni, despite the rubber band rigatoni was very very good. Cocktails were also good. For price point I wouldexpect more attention to detail. Read more

Good food and good service. Very tucked away with a nice water view. Cool enough out they had the space heaters on which was... nice. Read more

Very cute restaurant with excellent service. We sat on the heated patio which was nice despite the snowy weather . We ordered... the antipasto plate which was vegetarian and awesome, the fried artichoke hearts, and a Caesar salad which was delicious. Thewine we ordered was very tasty as well. The only disappointment was my gnocchi (a special on the menu) and my mother-in-law?smussels were way too salty. I ended up sending the gnocchi back because I couldn?t enjoy it. The waiter was very gracious aboutthis and kindly took the dish back. Read more

We had a 7:30 reservation and we're seated at 7:50. We were told to wait in the back on the Adirondack chairs which overlook a... lake. It was very nice. They also have outside seating there for dinner on like picnic tables. We were really looking forward toa great dinner but it was really just mediocre. I ordered the mussels appetizer and they were okay it just was a small portionfor $17. My husband got the baked clams which were okay. For the main meal I got the island cioppino for $33. It had a verysmall amount of seafood in it. I ordered it over spinach instead of pasta which was fine. The couple we were with ordered theswordfish which was dry. They also ordered the halibut which was a special and that really wasn't great either. The service wasslow because I think their short-handed with help. Our waiter actually had to make our drinks also. The one thing that wasspectacular there was the desserts. Flourless chocolate cake was to die for. Read more

Awesome Vegetarian spot and non-veg too!!! We love stuffed portobello, impossible burger and mussel. As well as raspberry ice... tea, very refreshing on hot summer day. It is also an awesome date spot. A great ambience and cool lighting/small fireplacepit. Con: the entrance is hidden and they need bigger sign. Parking lot by restaurant is too close to the traffic road. Highlyrecommended to park across the street Read more
