Most times I cook at home but I wanted to support a black owned business instead of spending money at Cracker barrel. I went... around 9:35a.m Saturday July 30, 2022. I ordered the Jaz special with comes with 2 pancakes, salmon croquette, sausage or baconand home fries or grits. This was my first time going and I was pleased with the service and how my issue was rectified on thesausage appearing to look burnt and my pancakes not being as light as I wanted them to be. Thank you Yummy cafe for making suremy issue was rectified and that I was satisfied. I don't eat out often but I will probably be back again ????. Read more

I waited almost a hour for Half done eggs that I asked to be well done w/ cheese and the pancakes are horrible my 4 year old... could have done a better job making breakfast. The bacon was the only thing cooked right . The salmon Patties and fries andchicken strips was overcooked and I watched they put so much water in the grits to keep them from sticking they room temperatureslimy and gross I don?t want to eat them smh they give anybody a restaurant. I spent $50 for food I should have went to IHOP forand got better quality food. Won?t return even if it?s free. The prices are not reasonable for food jus sitting in the hotbedthe toast was soggy not made fresh the building and bacon is about the nicest thing for my first time at this food effort WONTBE RETURNING !!!!!! I have been a long time customer of Yummies Cafe since 2019 and I have tried everything on there menu before they added the... brunch menu. I can say that the food is not as great/good as before. I recently bought a whiting fish w/s. potatoes fries(today) and the fish was over fried. Not only that! I love the Jaz special w/salmon that they serve, but its always overseasoned (very salty) when I buy. I missed and would love too see the two daughters come back, because they put love in the foodthey cooked for thier customers. It has never been the same since they have left.
