If you?re looking to try African food for the first time or if you?re far away from home, then this is definitely a restaurant... you should try. I?ve been disappointed by many African restaurants but this place, has yet to give me a bad taste. I eat here atleast 2-3 times a week. I?ve been so busy lately but I have gone here twice and every single time the food was great! Not overbearing in the spices and... it?s always fresh! It?s literally a 4 mint drive and my main dish is Egusi! The establishment is very open and clean. Not a longwait at all. The owner always says I look like her sister! Great, clean tasting food and clean restaurant. I had the okra stew and it was the best I've had. Her prices are reasonable and... not over-priced, about 5 dollars cheaper compared to other West African restaurants. I didn't get her name but the lady behindthe counter was polite, I got a vibe from her similar to that of a caring mother. Read more
I have wanting to stop at this restaurant for awhile. I'm always interested in other cultures and other foods. I was greeted... when I walked in the door. When I expressed that I was only trying the dishes, I was given a choice to start with and I wasnot disappointed. I had jollof rice with whiting fish, very tasty.
