We are a family of 9, we went to have lunch at the Perkos Cafe in riverbank. The service was friendly, clean tables and... utensils. Our food took quite a while and the appetizers arrived when our meals came. Everything looked good until the pungentsmell went across the table and my daughter got her nachos that were plain with chili beans and cheese. The chili beans smelledlike a rotten mold, which is something that the chef should have noticed before serving the dish. The beans had to have beensitting overnight or uncovered all day. The server did apologize for the disgusting food and said she smelled it too. Sadly, wewill NOT be going to this restaurant again! Very good and friendly service, bad food experience. Read more
