Been a while since we been here, our daughter was craving China Moon, so she talked us into it for a Saturday evening. Was not... very busy, which is nice- and not so nice for a buffet. Nice that nothing was out, didn't have to wait for refills. Not so niceis the food isn't turned over as much, so some things like the onion rings, fish and broccoli was a little mushy. Sesame andpineapple chicken was great, as well as fried rice, noodles, and the fried potatoes- not crisp, a touch under cooked andperfectly seasoned. Service was good, prices on the rise like everywhere else. The kids seemed to finally get the concept of abuffet, as we all left stuffed...always have to finish with some fried dough and ice cream... Good food made in small batches. When multiple "to go" orders clean out the buffet, food is replaced relatively quickly. ... Friendly-family operated. Food not overly salty like many buffets. Five flavors of ice cream to enjoy. Read more
We ordered takeout last week and didn't get several items in our order. We ordered sweet-and-sour chicken but didn't get any... sweet-and-sour sauce. We ordered the peanut butter chicken, it was fried chicken sliced up with no peanut butter sauce on it--just plain fried chicken. I ordered a quart of egg drop soup & half the soup was spilled inside the bag when we got homebecause the lid had not been put on. We ordered Mongolian beef and it was 90% sliced onions. Very little beef and what beef wasin it was very chewy, not a very good quality beef. Then to top it off we got one package of white rice when I had asked forfried rice with the other 2 entrees so for 3 entrees we got 1 package of white rice. It was so disappointing. I won't go back. for a small family owned buffet, the food selection is very good! around dinner time the food is replaced quickly so it is fresh... and delicious. one of my favorite restaurants in river falls! Read more
Very poor choice, very few dishes. There was no meat in Pepper Steak and no one added it. I won't go here again.
