Tacos! Al Pastor and chicken are our favorite tacos here! They?re so flavorful! The service inside was welcoming. It was very... clean and a nice place to eat indoors or out. I hope they get their drive through up and running soon (the only reason itwasn?t a 5 star review). Read more

I speak of the food you go find out about the drinks. This place has the best barbacoa in town, they are owned by the same... people as los primos in Albuquerque. Their baked potatoes are delicious and please try the churros! Don?t believe me? Go try foryourself. Now, this more like a taco stand not a restaurant so keep that in mind when you see if the tables have been cleaned ornot. Kitchen closes at 8pm Read more

Great place to eat. Seating inside and outside. There is a bar area for those over 21. They have a great variety of local bars... on tap. The $2 tacos are great street tacos. I suggest mixing them and trying all the flavors. The chicken quesadilla is tastyand huge. Great to split it with someone. Staff is very friendly. Read more

We visited Tap N Taco for the first time Saturday for linner. We pass by every day and have been impressed by the full parking... lots, especially during lunch. It has obviously found a niche in what had been a black hole for food and the reviews seem toback that up. We liked the environment but were somewhat disappointed by the food. The store is divided into two areas;kitchen/sit down eating area separated from a bar by a glass partition. An open grill serves a limited menu featuring tacos, stuffed potatoes and quesadillas. A half dozen four place tables and a sauce/pico bar complete the scene. The bar area hashigh top tables with seating at the bar and is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows with two garage doors leading to patiodining areas. A single large screen TV sits above the bar and is easily viewed from all seats. Their beer selection hasexpanded but only includes one light beer. Service was top notch, even though it was crowded. As you enter you take a tray, order and then pay for your food. You can then choose to sit in either room. Don?t forget the sauce bar. People were loadingup on the delicious pico as evidenced by one woman who filled to plates with the stuff. Kind of an off menu salad. I orderedthe Carne Asada Taco and Chicken Quesadilla. My wife ordered the Taco Al Pastor. The Asada is made with grilled sirloin. Verydry grilled sirloin. Overcooked grilled sirloin. Judging by the appearance of the meat on the grill it had been there far toolong. Yes they are small; this is tapas so don?t expect a full belly. The quesadilla is a larger tortilla folded over meltedcheese and chunks of chicken. The chicken tasted more like fish; definitely a funky flavor. My wife found the pork in the AlPastor tasty with a nice spice to it. I agree but again the meat was dry. Beers come in tall and regular; prices arereasonable. My wife had the House Margarita. While we enjoyed the bar and would come back, the restaurant is not Read more

We have already been here like 10 times since it has opened. They have the best tacos and micheladas! My husband and I are so... happy to have an authentic Mexican taco place closer to home since there isn?t much on this side of town. The bartenders, cooksand owners are all very friendly. Read more

Great food! Great service! Great Experience! After waiting for months for this place to finally open, the wait was worth it. We... had been driving by waiting for the doors to open and once they did the place looked packed. We waited a couple weeks to try toslide with no crowd but we finally gave up and pulled in. To our surprise the line moved fast and the food was prepared directlyin front of us and we order one of every taco and we're surprised when even if fish taco that was cooked to order was deliveredbefore we even paid. The price was under an order at McDonalds with 10x the flavor. The tacos were some if the best I have hadin New Mexico, no big feet, and all delivered with professional friendly service. To top it off they have a full bar and weenjoyed our tacos alongside some amazing margaritas making this a regular place on our places to eat. Also thanks Tap N Tacofor bringing food made with love to Rio Rancho the sea of corporate food. With so many awesome mom and pop restaurants inAlbuquerque, it is nice to finally getting something out here in this neighborhood. Read more

Loved this new taco spot! I'm from Cali and this place made my heart soooo happy with real Al Pastor! We tried a little of... everything. The barbacoa was bomb too. Can't wait for the menu to expand with some fish or shrimp. Only thing missing is somebeans and rice, hopefully they will add it to the menu! Read more
