Spent 15 minutes in line behind two other cars. Never got my food. Was on my way to work, running ahead of schedule. But after... sitting there all that time I had to leave without my food or I was going to be late. What the heck?? It's fast food people. Don't go in to my line of work. You wouldn't make it one day. Ordering went fine. Nice girl at the counter took it and gave me my number. Sat down for a few minutes even though the place... wasn't that busy and I saw the chicken was already cooked and under heat lamp. Called my number, picked up my order and drovehome with is close enough. Got home, opened the box and saw they gave me rice instead of mashed with gravy so I took it back andasked for some fresh chicken which unfortunately wouldn't have made any difference since said chicken had been sitting under thelamp for a few hours. Manager seemed to belittle me about wanting some fresh chicken then I realized there was none that wasfresh. I had to open the box to show her the rice instead of the mashed as well. Guess she thought I was lying. She could reallyuse some new countertop manners considering the price and condition of their chicken. Got it home and mashed was good, biscuitwas a hard brick and the chicken? Well let's just say the chicken was not what I expected since I used to frequent the locationon San Mateo which was always good and fresh. The chicken is dry and tough including the skin but if that's what you like keepeating there since you obviously don't know good chicken. $10.32 for the worst meal I've had in a long time. I don?t even know where to begin, but I?ll cut it short, placed a large online order for my family for dinner, and when I showed... up to pick it up I was told they wouldn?t fulfill my order at all, just because they didn?t have mild tenders. I wasn?t given areplacement, I wasn?t even given any of my sides. The manager was so so rude as well as the woman working up front with her. Icould tell immediately that the staff was very overwhelmed, I absolutely would not have minded at all to wait for a substitutionof some kind, or even just a kind apology? I can?t believe the people that were working tonight couldn?t even just be decenthuman beings. They were all so so disrespectful and dismissive, I wouldn?t be surprised if they were contaminating peoples food.I do NOT recommend this location. Popeye's chicken was hot, fresh and delicious. However, we placed our orders quickly and knew what we wanted to buy. People kept... being served while we set and waited....and waited. We finally had to ask for the our order at the counter. The counter serversput it together and hand it to us. The 4 piece chicken meal did not have the biscuits and the chicken nuggets my grandson orderwere cold. They change the cole slaw recipe as well. I spent 30 minutes in drive-thru! They had the lobby closed. One man stopped by my car to tell the lady at the window that he... ordered on line, but can't go inside to pick up his order. The girl told him, "Dude, I have all these orders in line and most ofthem are online orders also. Did you get in line?" Needless to say, the man told her he didn't order online ahead of time justto wait an hour in line. This Popeye's seriously needs more workers and better management.
