I tried this place after reading some reviews about their Philly cheesesteak and since I live close off golf course, I wanted to... support. When I walked in I was kindly greeted both by the owner and cashier. Told them I heard about their Philly cheesesteaksand the owner said I won?t be disappointed so I went for it, and I was not disappointed. It was so dang good! Went back thefollowing week to rave about it and order another. Read more
Love this place! Have tried a few different subs so far, favorite being the cubano! & always have to get a brownie! My husband... ordered a large sub 1 time & wow, it was so huge! Definitely enough for 2 to share. If you're looking for a local smallbussiness it's definitely worth the try! Read more
Came in around lunch time and most varieties of bagels were sold out, so we tried two other bagels I would not normally order. ... Also ordered and paid for a sub but then was told they didn?t have the meat to make that sub. Substituted for a different sub(the New Yorker which was recommended by the cashier). When I got home I realized one of the bagels they gave me was the wrongone. The vinaigrette they put on the sub tasted like generic Italian dressing and was not good. The bread for the sub was verymediocre and disappointing. I was born in the New York area and in my opinion this restaurant should not have NY in the namebecause it is not authentic food. Chains like Jersey Mike?s and Einstein?s bagels are even better than this place ****UPDATEand response to owner**** You claimed I was offered the choice to wait for more Turkey to be roasted but that is not true; youremployee only offered me the choice of a refund or a different sandwich. Also, you should reread my review. I never said thecashier chose a replacement for me, I simply said he RECOMMENDED the New Yorker. The fact that I went to your restaurant showsthat I do care about supporting local business. It?s quite unfortunate that your sub bread lacked quality, your vinaigrette hada weak flavor, and also that your employee gave me the wrong type of bagel (ordered sesame, received a plain one). As I statedin my original review, it is my opinion that you should not use NY your name because the food I received was laughable comparedto authentic New York cuisine. Read more
Went in for lunch and had the Turkey Bomb sub, which was excellent. Green chile was a nice touch. I've also had a breakfast... bagel in the past, which is made to order. Tasty food and staff is friendly. Read more
The food was amazing, bar none, but that fell second to the customer service. We showed up at 9:45 not realizing that was when... the restaurant closes to prep for lunch, and we were still served with no issue. The owner was so kind and made some of the mostdelicious food we have had since living in Albuquerque. Having lived on the East coast and having eaten in many New York delis, this was absolutely on par with NYC experience. 10/10 recommend! Read more
