I was talked into trying Tummy's last month. I was given a basic turkey sandwich. It was delicious. I have been wanting to come... back but life got in the way.. that is until today when I went in for myself and saw the menu. I was surprised and thrilled tosee BBQ Beef on the menu. I have tried everything out in Sac as far as a BBQ beef sandwich that could either live up to WoodRanch's award winning BBQ, from Sauces, the Back 40, to Double Barrel BBQ. All good, but not amazing. Tummies had it! By farthe best BBQ Beef sandwich I have had in years. Way WAY better than Kinders BBQ Beef. The two ladies working today were amazingand friendly. Sorry to write such a long review, but there are two things I love for food more than anything, Good BBQ and GoodCarne Asada. I luckily now know where to get the best BBQ sandwich in Nor Cal. Expected to get a quick sandwich for my lunch. Took about 45 min to get two sandwiches. I understand that it was a busy time,... but I'm not asking for a 3 course meal... the wait time was unreasonable. Additionally, the two older women working therewhere extremely slow, despite our long wait the workers showed no hustle. Sandwiches are alright, but quicker and better pricedat subway. Read more
The sandwich was delicious. I tried Tummy's Club, and it was very good. My experience was a bit odd though. When I received my... food, all the employees went out back to have a smoke break - leaving me inside by myself to enjoy my lunch. It was really odd.Also, all of the lights were off in the dining room making it a bit dark. All-in-all, it was a good sandwich, and I must havecaught the staff on a bad day. Read more
