Booked Hickory Hank's BBQ for our upcoming Fall Meet at Sacramento Valley Live Steamers Railroad Museum. On Fridays, they serve... food at their catering kitchen. Hickory Hanks Bar B Q catered our Annual Summer Party for 100 plus attendees this month. The food was excellent and Hank and... his team were experienced, professional and assisted us with everything from beginning to end. The staff contacted us themorning of the event to give detail as to how the day would go and to answer questions. They were prompt, efficient and workedindependently to cook, set up and serve our guests. The Tri Tip and Chicken were perfectly cooked and seasoned, everything waskept hot throughout the serving time, side dishes were excellent and all leftovers were expertly packaged up for us. Theycleaned up the kitchen and serving area and checked with us before leaving. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpedmake our party fun for all of us. I ordered enough food to serve 25 people. There was ample food to choose from, even enough for everyone to have seconds of... everything. Hank's team did a tremendous job, food arrived hot, was set up and ready to be served on time. I took the left oversand stuck them in the freezer. Got to enjoy barbecue for a couple more meals. Enjoyed having Hank cater for us on this day, allI had to do was enjoy!!! Read more
I went to an event that they catered and they were very professional and organized. Had plenty of food ready for the 80+ people... that attended. The BBQ itself, was pretty basic compared to a lot of BBQ places out there. Nothing too exciting about the ribsor chicken. Though I don't know what they do to their baked beans but those things are DANG good! The lady next to me I thinkhad 3 plates full of them. But overall a decent bang for your buck, just don't expect any new type of BBQ that you are justgoing to rave about to your friends or acquaintances. Read more
