No complaints about this place! Good service, tasty food.. Had my first pork roll here, was interesting. Had some background... music on so it wasn't "eerily quiet" as mentioned in 1 of the other reviews, though a quiet restaurant isn't really somethingI'd have an issue with ???? Anyways, if you're passing by here on a road trip and hungry it is more than acceptable diner food! Read more

Didn't know what to expect. Stopped in on our way back from Princeton area and needed lunch. All of our meals were... delicious, the server was attentive and polite, the orders came quickly and overall a great experience. Read more
I met a friend I hadn?t seen in two years here for breakfast. We were there a little over an hour. The owner came to our table... and said you are done I need you to leave. I need your table. My friend said while she was waiting for me the owner yelled at adoor dash person and then continued to berate door dash and how he loses money with them to her after the guy left. Not many breakfast diners in Flemington area, found Golden Star it was good and staff friendly.
Waitress was sweet. On a hot day, dining room was hot too. Yuck. Cream of turkey soup, awesome. Prime rib tough and served well... done. Sent it back for a medium and it came back again med well. Shame on you chef. Prime rib easiest thing to cook, especiallywhen advertised as a special. Read more
