Reviews for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Ringgold, GA
First let me say I, like Cracker Barell and this review is only for this particular store. Everywhere we go Sir George; my... service animal; also goes. That being said, when we arrived at the hostess station we were greeted with unwelcome looks. Thenthe comments of "dogs do not need to be where people eat" began. We WERE seated. At a section that was yet to be cleaned. So, wecleaned our own table. Thank goodness Sir George, has a mat because the floor was just nasty. The pictures just don't do justiceto what we sat down to because we removed some floor debris (with our feet) to put the mat down. Then the wait for a waitressand to order began. By this time I, was ready to go. It was my birthday meal my son, and I were looking forward to. My husband, however wanted to wait a while longer. After 28 mins of waiting the waitress came to get our order. Another 17 mins and werecieved our drinks. Another 41 minutes and our food came. So, it was well over an hour and a half to eat after being seatedwhile watching others who came in after us receive there food quickly and continue to be serviced. All this at a restaurant thatwas NOT CROWDED. Read more
Great place to eat and good service, just wish they took reservations, so we,(15 people) would not have wait... we had just... buried a loved one, tired and very hungry Read more
Good service. Food was poor. Pancakes must have been microwaved, could not cut with knife, unable to eat. Eggs cold. Had to ask... for butter, jelly, coffee refill. No grits, really! Asked to speak with manager, never came to table. Ringgold store does notoffer military discount, yet who stepped in to assist after tornado. Shame on franchise owner. Do not plan to eat at this siteagain. Cracker barrel had been one of the last few constants after pandemic. Read more
I had a party of 10. So I no my table is not the easiest to wait for so I go into it with a very open mind. We wait about 45... minutes for an open table which I have no problem with, that is usual. We place our order with the drink order to try and trimthe wait. Literally 5 people get their food within 15-20 minutes the other half of my party wait 35 minutes before gettingserved. I spoke to the manager and she blamed the cooks. Which I thought was unprofessional. She was very young and seemed tohave little experience. I run my on business and know the difficulties of managing people. The explanation was some cooks areslower than others. But the problem was management because of the way they handle large party's. Probably won't go back to thisone and just drive down the road to IHOP or the barrel in Chattanooga. Read more
Order came wrong. STRESSED multiple times No Garlic butter in hamburger steak, and it came soaked in it. No napkins given.... Really??? Had to go and ask for our drinks and received them just before the meal came out!! Then took 25 minutes to getrefills (after we had to ask for them)!!! Never did get our bread!! Worst food and service ever at this location!! I thinkzero star employees should be monitored be 3 or more star employees, to double check orders, etc. Not a happy customer!! Read more
I hail from cities. All my life. Wife and I went up to the ?sticks? to this establishment and had my stereo typical... preconceived perceptions. How ignorant of me. The folks here are super, super friendly. Attentive to your needs and a group ofvery hard working-folks. The food was superb. Those biscuits are addictive and the ?fixings?, round the breakfast outwonderfully. Be sure to try their flapjacks and syrup. Their country fried steak is very tasty and filling. Coffee is justright! Do yourself a favor and do breakfast or lunch with these guys. You won?t regret it. Read more
The eggs and pancakes are good but there?s a problem, they have no idea how to make the sausage or bacon correctly. I still love... this place! Just please start to cook the meat better! Read more
The wait staff at the Ringgold location are phenomenal, however when we came around lunch on thanksgiving the rules (menu... restrictions) the management team and kitchen staff put in place where a bit ridiculous, although a limited menu isunderstandable considering the holiday business. However there were multiple times when we tried to place our order that ourwaitresses had to ?ask for permission? from the kitchen if they could take an order from what was on the menu that the locationprovided for the day. We will be return customers and again our two waitresses were great, but the communication and level oftraining that Cracker Barrel offers their staff definitely needs to be improved. Read more
