Tired of waiting forever for items we order, and being overcharged for items we didn?t order. Wait times are extremely long, and... their waiting room is a closet. We won?t be going here anymore, and will gladly go to Lillys Kitchen in Rifle when wantingauthentic Mexican cuisine. Read more
The food was good and with large portions. The atmosphere wasn't my preference, but was nice. The service was excellent! ... Overall, it is a nice place to take your family to eat. The prices are high, but probably comparable to other restaurants inthe area. They are not set up to handle a gluten-free diet. The TVs in the dining area were mostly news or sports, but one ofthem was playing cartoons that may have been scary or upsetting to some children. We did not request for it to be changed, butI suspect the staff would have if asked. Read more
Food was good as far as the chips/salsa/marinated veggies dip, refried beans. Hard shell taco fell apart had to be eaten with... fork. Asked for light ice in margarita, bar tender/manager said it couldn?t be less than standard so I ended up with a $12margarita that was over half ice (exactly what I was trying to avoid-annoying!) Also? They mopped the floor with chemicals -Uggggh!! Right near our table while we were eating. Pointed these 2 things out to the Bar Tender:manager at meal conclusion. Heapologized; the bill reflected $2 off on the margarita but I believe that was actually HH price anyway. The experience was notas good as it could?ve been due to these issues. The cheese dip was delicious. The lunch prices were really good for the portion given. They give you chips, salsa, and a cabbage... salad with nopales. The service was ok. Everything was hot and really good. Would come again Read more

The waiters and waitresses seemingly don't care about refilling drinks or serving ordered items. On a Thursday night, my wife... and I waited in thier tiny waiting room for almost 30 minutes to be seated, then when seated we immediatly ordered queso dip.The waiter was nonchalant the entire time, and gave off a rude vibe. We recieved our main dishes after ordering, still withoutqueso dip. I flagged down the bald manager and asked him if he would get our queso dip, and he returned with the queso dipmoments later. I also had to ask the bartender for our soda to be refilled since our waiter glanced at our drinks several timeswhile passing and never bothered to refill them. I dont recall his name but he is an older gentleman maybe 50 years old. Uponpaying our bill, we quickly noticed they had charged us three separate times for queso dip, when we only recieved one. The younggirl checking us out said to us, "Well you did order three queso dips right?". We told her we did not, and she responded with"Well I saw him bring it to your table at least twice". Seriously, we had to go out of our way to flag the manager down just torecieve the item we ordered and are paying for, and you want to claim you saw with your own eyes something vastly different thanwhat actually happened? The checkout clerk was extremely rude and condescending. We paid and got out. This was a halfway decentrestaurant for a long time, but over the last three years it was become a nightmare to dine at. I will say hands down thatLillys Kitchen in rifle serves much better Mexican cuisine, and a substantially better price point. We won't be returning totequilas ever again since its always a hassle to eat there. Read more
