Had a steak sandwich and homemade potato chips. It was SUPERB. My wife had the roast beef sandwich, gravy and mashed potatoes.... Good but not great, and not very hot temperature. Country fried steak is NOT a country fried steak is more like a pan fried steak with a I don't know what kind of gravy.. very... bland...a true country fried steak is pulverized with a meat tenderizer and then breaded in panko breading and deep fried with acountry gravy which is a white pepper gravy much like sausage gravy.... Love the omelets their literally the BEST in elk county! & the grilled cheese is also really good I can't ever decide between... the two when we eat here! I also love the vanilla cake donut with sprinkles I'm Not sure if they changed the icing but the lastfew times I got one the icing was different it didn't taste as good to me however my kid still loved it! Superb addition to Ridgway, and I can only attest to Joey's breakfast. The omelette I had was fluffy and cheesy, the thick... wheat toast was buttered and hot - but the friendly staff really made my morning. I must be jaded from typically overhearingrestaurant staff complain - but not here. The girls were cheerful and polite, even having been there since Joey's opened at5:30am. I?m only giving this place two stars because it?s unbelievable how down it?s gotten. I?ve been stopping here on my way to... Washington DC for the last three years, this was by far the worst visit,empty shells slow service deep-fried potatoes where isthe Home in Grill potatoes no offer of it I sent the potatoes back because they were just dripping and got awful oil it wasactually terrible, this place used to be unbelievable unbelievable pastries beautiful display of a garnished breakfast they?velost their way and it shows because the place is completely empty sad I don?t know who the owners are but let?s see if you canget this back together Read more
Stopped in for lunch in the middle of riding the Clarion Little Toby Rail Trail. I had seen good reviews on Yelp so I thought I... would try it. I had a plain pancake (it is big and dense so one was filling) and a side of bacon. I also took a few cookieswith me for the second half of the ride.
