It's his 40th and there's only two of us, and a whole cake is way too big for us both. I've reached out to The Prickly Hippie to... see if they could do a small last min strawberry cake, but make it masculine with all his favorite sweets. They were able tosqueeze in my order and totally pulled it off!! It's absolutely gorgeous, decadently delicious! He's in dessert heaven. Read more

do yourself a huge favor and go here. The owner/cake artist is entirely too talented and all her creations come from the heart.... I recommend: a homemade Peacetart, a maple bacon donut, a gluten-free cupcake, and/or literally anything in there because allof it is happiness. ???? Read more

This adorable shop is definitely a favorite of mine now! The atmosphere is cool and funky, and I loved the vintage themed... seating area. The baked goods and coffee drinks were all tasty, too. The associate who helped me was also kind and friendly, soit hits all the marks for me! Read more

Super cute desserts! Stopped in while we waited for our pizza next door. My daughter had the cutest puppy cupcake, and she got... the brownie for me. Both were delicious. My daughter also got a bracelet that she absolutely loves. Highly recommend! Read more

My daughters 3rd birthday cake turned out way better than I could have EVER imagined! The owner was so nice! She helped me make... decisions I was indecisive about. She completely got my vision and took it exactly where I wanted it to go! My first time usingthe Prickly hippie will definitely not be the last! The design was on point and so was the flavor. I was completely blown away!Thx for making my daughters 3rd birthday one we Will never forget???????????? Read more

I really wanted this place to be good. I have tried them twice. The first time I took my family here I was disappointed by the... quality of the baked goods. Although very cute, the taste wasn?t there. I thought we would try them again for their StrangerThings themed treats. My daughter got a few desserts and I got a donut and a Frappuccino. My daughter didn?t finish herdesserts, which says a lot and I took one bite of my donut. It felt like eating a donut that was made the week before. I wasvery upset by what we paid versus the quality of the baked goods that we received. Cute desserts are fun, but if you don?t wantto eat them.. it?s pointless. My Frappuccino was delicious, though and the girl behind the counter was a peach. Read more

The owner pours her heart and soul into this business; it?s quite evident in the quality of the products. I?ve seen many... complain about the prices.. Fellow patrons, if you want cheap, go to the local corporate run donut shop. If you want true art,to support local and unique taste, go to the prickly hip! No, I don?t work there. I?m a huge advocate for small business and forgetting what I pay for. I paid in the hundreds for a magical *custom* cake for my daughters birthday two years ago that shestill talks about today! The attendees are were floored that a cake could be so pretty and taste so good. They were accustomedto pretty cakes tasting like bitter fondant. Not PH cakes! You pay more but for the quality, beauty, and taste! If you can getthat at your normal run of the mill bakery, go ahead, but as for my family and I, we are 100% loyal to the PH! Read more

Asked Jenni to make a cake for my sisters baby shower and I could not have imagined a better cake! It was so pretty no one... wanted to cut into it. We finally did and it was SO GOOD. Besides this beauty, I usually stop in when I'm in town to snag a fewpeace tarts before heading back to California and the staff are always so nice and happy. The vibes in the shop are like noother place in Mississippi.I highly recommend for any floral or bakery needs! Read more
