Very interesting concept and also a good place to pickup some low carb essentials like quest products and other protein bars. ... Shakes were tasty with the most flavor options I've ever seen. Only con would be that the shakes are heavily soy based. Read more
Unlike traditional smoothie places, the shakes here are made with little or no sugar (if you get the Meal shake, it has an apple... and a banana in it, so it obviously has natural sugar). The flavor choices are diverse. Some have a slight aftertaste, mostlikely from the caffeine. They can make it custom for you. My favorite is the Banana Pudding with a scoop of peanut butter. Marcus was working when we stopped in on our road trip. I am so glad they sell products online, because I want one down the... street! The flavor and thickness of their shakes reminded me of Smoothie King (which I love), but had significantly fewercalories and much higher protein. So much healthier for a comparable price and flavor. I had the smore's and my husband hadstrawberry banana. We loved them both and plan on ordering online. Marcus was very helpful and fun to talk to, explainedeverything clearly and made great recommendations. Stop by if you are nearby, these shakes made a great breakfast! Read more
First I want to say that many of my coworkers are crazy about Super Shakes and the Super Shakes staff is super friendly.... However, I only rated two stars because my taste buds were offended. I just felt like I was drinking "fake" stuff. I am notinto those protein powders and diet drinks. I prefer real food flavor. I gave their product 2 tries. I tried two totallydifferent flavors. I prefer fruits and vegis to sweets and candy as a personal preference. So the first time I got a strawberrybanana shake; Red flags started waving in my head when the young man asked if I wanted real strawberries. I said yes. I alsoasked for something that would help me stay alert later in the evening because I had to attend an event that required my alertattention. Well, that shake tasted awful. I forced myself to finish the entire thing, thinking I would get over the flavor. Sidenote, I did stay alert for the evening and had no trouble going to sleep at bed time. Also, these shakes are not cheap. Now, Ihave to note here that after I left the store with my shake, I was standing out front and I tasted it, immediately I made aface, because it was not what I was expecting. The young man working there happened to come out behind me and asked me how myshake was. I answered honestly and told him I did not like it at all. He apologized and said I should give it another try so hegave me a coupon for a free shake. Second visit, used free coupon, tried employee recommendation. Still blech. Read more
