tried this for the first time today we got loaded cheese sticks,the meat lovers style pizza , and peach pudding pie omg... everything is so amazing ???? my pizza scale is broke i wish i could give more than 5 stars picture is the peach pudding pieit's all we had left to take a picture of lol Read more
Me & my wife were trying to decide on what we wanted to eat last night. So we finally came up with the idea of trying this new... pizza place out on Hwy. 51 in Ridgeland called Johnny's Pizza House. We got the medium Mighty Meaty w/ extra cheese with superthick crust & cheesy bread. I didn't expect it to be this good but it was pretty good. It was loaded with meat & cooked welldone like we requested.Next time I gotta tell them light sauce but other than that everything was good. We were so excited to see a Johnny's Pizza House in our area. We got a small Sweep the Kitchen and small pick your own with... Andouille sausage, Pepperoni, Ham and Pork Sausage. We also added a five piece wing with Sweet and Tangy sauce. The Sweep theKitchen had thick crust which could use a little more butter or oil to make it excellent in my opinion. It was piled high withtoppings and full of flavor. I would definitely get it again but not with the thick crust. The pick your own had thin crustwhich was way better than the thick crust. There was no skimping on the toppings here either. The wings were huge just the way Ilike them and there was plenty of sauce on them. I thought they were fine just like they were but my wife likes hers a littlemore crispy. If you are like her just ask them to run them twice through the cooker. The only reason I'm giving four instead offive stars is the fact that no one had on gloves in the kitchen. Being older and having worked in food service in the past whennot wearing gloves was common in kitchens it didn't bother me as much as it did my wife. But, actually seeing bare handstouching unprepared and cooked foods did take me back for a moment. I would go back although my wife said she would not. Overallthe food was good and the workers were very nice and pleasant so give them a shot if you're in the area and aren't turned off bybare hands touching your food before or after it's cooked. New to us Pizza place. The interior is comfortable and clean. Seating is limited and appears to favor take out. The staff... appeared to be hired help but acted like owners. Very attentive to our questions. One lady consistently cleaned and stocked theseating area. Ordering is via counter service. Our pizza was served hot after a short wait. We shared one of our new favoritepizzas, the Mighty Meaty. To repeat this area is full of great pizza places, this pizza has become our favorite! We willdefinitely be back to try other menu items. We were so excited to hear they brought a Johnny?s here! Just picked up my order that I had set for a 5:15 pickup, they were... walking it out the door to my truck at 5:14. Everything smells amazing. Cannot wait until crawfish season when they have theSWAMP PIZZA!! ???? I live in Madison, MS but am from Monroe/West Monroe, La. Home to Johnny?s Pizza. There was a Johnny?s on every corner. I... grew up on their pizza/breadsticks. Imagine my excitement that Johnny?s is now in Gluckstadt. I have ordered pizza 3 times nowand the service/quality of food has been HORRIBLE each time. It?s nothing but a bunch of kids working there. It?s obvioustheir only interest is getting a paycheck to pay for gas or whatever teenagers these days spend money on. There is no regardfor the customers and it shows. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this particular Johnny?s in Gluckstadt. Theservice/food doesn?t do the Johnny?s Pizza Chain any justice. It really saddens me to see such a wonderful part of my hometownrepresented in this way ???? Read more
